I recently had the misfortune of dining at Bubba's Pizza in Aldgate, and let me tell you, it was a culinary nightmare from start to finish. This place doesn't just miss the mark—it completely obliterates any semblance of quality or taste.
First off, let's talk about the ambiance, or lack thereof. Walking into Bubba's feels like stepping into a time warp back to the 1980s, and not in a charming retro way. The decor is tired and outdated, with dingy walls and fluorescent lighting that makes you question whether you've accidentally stumbled into a run-down cafeteria instead of a pizza joint.
But let's not judge a book by its cover, right? Wrong. Because the dismal atmosphere is just the beginning of Bubba's litany of failures. The service is nothing short of abysmal. The staff couldn't care less about your dining experience, as they shuffle around with all the enthusiasm of zombies in a B-movie. Good luck getting anyone's attention when you need it—whether it's to take your order or, God forbid, address a problem with your meal.
And speaking of the meal, let's get to the pièce de résistance: the pizza itself. Or should I say, the sad excuse for pizza that they dare to serve here. The crust is as lifeless as cardboard, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually sourced from a grocery store freezer aisle. The toppings are sparse and flavorless, leaving you wondering if they've ever heard of the concept of seasoning. And don't even get me started on the cheese—it's like they raided the bargain bin at the discount dairy section.
But perhaps the most egregious offense of all is the price. You'd think that with such abominable quality, Bubba's would at least have the decency to charge reasonable prices. But no, they have the audacity to demand top dollar for what can only be described as glorified cafeteria food.
In conclusion, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Bubba's Pizza in Aldgate unless you have a masochistic streak and enjoy subjecting yourself to culinary torture. There are far better options out there for pizza lovers who actually value their taste buds and...

Read moreTLDR; Price has increased, quality has considerably decreased. Better to visit any other local Pizzeria in the hills.
We have been visiting Bubba’s since it opened many years ago and it used to be great, relatively cheap, decent pizza, great toppings. Recently there has been an update to the menu, new options added and prices have increased. We would usually spend $40-$50 and now it is closer to $70, this would be ok if the quality was better or even the same, but it has drastically decreased. I don’t know if the supplier has changed but ingredients taste cheap and flavourless, and a freshly cooked pizza dough tastes almost stale even when eaten immediately. I don’t know if they make their dough in advance and let it sit or if they even make the dough in store anymore but the quality has taken a very noticeable decline since their update. We initially thought that it was an issue with ordering on a Sunday but after ordering throughout the week we can see that the quality doesn’t change. I held off writing a review as I hoped these were isolated incidents.
I am disappointed at the price and quality of Bubba’s and that this is one of the only takeaway options in Aldgate anymore. After many years we will not be ordering from here again until...
