Wishing Dirty Doris a very Happy Birthday Thank you for being the amazing family friendly place you are! We’ve been visiting regularly since our first visit nearly 3 years ago and very soon after Denny and Andrew helped us celebrate the birth of our first child. DD’s team have always been wonderful, holding a baby so that mum could have a hot coffee and before long helping wrangle a toddler - letting her play with the specials board chalk (sorry!) and helping us to a table when pushing a pram or loaded with bags. It has all been so appreciated that I haven’t even got to the delicious food and drinks. I remember early on thinking that everything on the menu sounded so good that I would just have to work my way through it all. Pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and Pepe Saya butter, amazing ramen and incredible sandos. The specials board then offers something mouthwatering that makes you want to come in each week to experience whatever delicacy Denny has cooked up. It has become the place we go for celebrations and the cocktail list and boozy milkshakes are reason enough. Popping in for a coffee and cake is our comfort treat. Seb behind the coffee machine delivering 5 star coffee (and babycinnos) and one of Denny’s desserts - the salted caramel brownie when available - is sensational. A silent killer of a cafe/diner in the foothills of SA, producing some quality food that's well worth the drive

We came here on the recommendation of some friends to see what this place has to offer. Looking at it from the outside, it looks like any old cafe. Looks can be deceiving though, and the closer you get to the diner the more you see this

Attention to detail from every point inside creates a great vibe to eat some delicious food. The food that came out was absolutely delicious and packed with flavour; an absolute delight Pair this with a great selection of drinks and you have a great lunch out with company. We came here on one of their special days, so I'd like to come back and try more of the menu before I consolidate my opinion, but I left very satisfied and impressed by Dirty Doris

Despite the name, Dirty Doris is incredibly clean 🙂 The staff are professional, friendly & the kitchen is consistent with the quality and timing of their food.

I highly recommend to order the Prawn Toast as an appetiser whilst u decide what to have for ur main meal. (If they dehydrated this, made it into a fine powder & packaged it into small baggies, I would snort it)

Fried Chicken thighs are a must have addition to any meal and possibly the most moist I’ve ever had. Eggs have a bright yolk and taste fantastic. I love that they make their own Hollondaise! Pancakes are light and fluffy, the maple syrup is real. I may have ordered extra maple syrup so i could dip my fries in it. Who’s dirty now?

Coffee game is powerful, good pour, smooth flavour and perfectly textured milk.

Come to think of it, Dirty Doris is indeed Dirty, in the best...
