Absolutely Appalling!

Put your seatbelts on as I'm about to become a Karen... And that has never happened before as I've never been that disgusted with food. Kind souls reading this review, take this advice and DO NOT order the pulled pork burger for that absolute disgrace of a cafe. (Still pondering about how they got their license) If you've read this far, you're either the owner or someone considering eating there... Allow me to give you a little breakdown of this "mighty" Pulled Pork Burger, you will get;

Packet Chips.. PACKET BLOODY CHIPS!!!!! That's a new level of low.

Following that you get, Packet Salad mix from Coles or Woolies.. IF I WANTED PACKET SALAD MIX I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT MYSELF AT THE GROCERY STORE.

And lastly, for the Grand Finale. The saddest excuse of a Pulled Pork Burger... "Sigh" The taste was overpowered by pickle juice, the cheese barely melted, couldn't even taste what was meant to be the main ingredient.. THE PULLED PORK. all of that on bums that weren't even toasted on the inside, THAT'S WHERE YOUR MEANT TO TOAST IT FFS 😤.

In conclusion if you feel like throwing away $18 in the trash, get your hands dirty and have a foul aftertaste in your mouth, Please do go there. For those who wish to keep their dignity and palate (never thought I'd ever say this) Please just go to Maccas, even their food tastes better and they serve you real chips... 🤯 Please note this comes from someone who hates maccas food, yet I'd rather go there for food than "Archer's Table".

Owner, whoever you are, feel free to contact...

Ah, the delightful experience in Port Augusta which was an absolute gem! Nestled in the heart of town, this charming cafe provided an exquisite breakfast that left me speechless. The corn fritter, a culinary masterpiece, adorned with a perfectly poached egg, was a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate – sheer perfection chef's kiss!

And let's not forget the stellar coffee; it was an absolute delight, brewed to aromatic perfection. The staff's warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of joy to the entire experience. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, elevating the entire visit to a whole new level.

Without a doubt, I give Archers Table a resounding 10/10! For anyone in Port Augusta or passing through, this spot is an absolute must-visit for an exceptional breakfast experience that'll linger in your memory. I'll undoubtedly be making a return trip whenever I'm in town. Highly, highly...

Tried the cheeseburger from Archers’ Table

Nice soft bun with a bit of bounce to the touch. Just the right amount of pickles to be noticed but not filling every bite. Tomato and mustard as expected. A generous serving of cheese and melted enough to make you think you’re in an acid trip but not enough that it runs away from you. The patty is delicious. Pretty standard but a good size, very juicy, while not sloppy. Served with some slaw and sauce, which is a cheeky teaser to what gets used in their pulled pork burger. Personally not a fan of slaws but was nice enough that I’m curious to try the pulled pork next visit. And also some original flavoured crinkle cut chips, I put some of these on the burger for a bite and it was lovely.

Nice location, tucked away in a quiet street with a nice setting both inside and outside. Staff were friendly...
