McDonald's — Restaurant in South Murwillumbah

So my partner and I have been coming to this Maccas for 2 years now as our main fast food joint and I've decided to finally come with a review for it.

Unfortunately 9/10 times we've come here, they've messed up our order. The burgers will be low grade or they'll forget something in our order that we've paid for. A few months ago my partner ordered the Jalapenos poppers and we got the sauce for it, but no Jalapenos? We had already gotten home by that point and couldn't be bothered to go back out and fix it. A few other times they've forgotten our nuggets or the sauces for the nuggets.

Tonight I ordered a burger meal and nuggets for my partner, as I got home I noticed we had no nuggets and I've tried calling the store about 8 times now and no one has answered and I don't want to go back out as I've worked all night so I've basically had $11 stolen from me as I'm sure they won't believe me if I go in tomorrow and ask for a refund or a replacement.

Definitely the worst Maccas I've ever been to. I'd highly recommend avoiding it if possible but if you can't, just double check the bag before leaving to make sure they haven't messed it...

I rarely go to McDonalds, my experiences in the past have mostly been lacking but my housemate asked me to pick up some breakfast on the way out of town. The Tomato Relish Roll looks great on the menu, what was delivered didnt remotely look like the picture, how you can compress what was in the pic into a flat unappetising thing is beyond me, all for $6.05. I had to wait for someone to come and make the cappuccino, they almost filled the whole jug with milk and tried to express the milk, anyone that knows how to make coffee would know the milk expands, so he gives up and pours the coffees when the milk reaches the top, so we get flat whites. In Murwillumbah you can buy great coffee consistently and cheaper than at McDonalds. Didnt McDonalds do a promotion that they make the best coffee? It wasnt busy when I was there 12/17 0916. Absolutely terrible experience at Murwillumbah Macca’s. We ordered the Minecraft Happy Meal specifically because it advertised a Minecraft toy on the screen, not a book. When we received the meal, we were given a Minecraft book instead, which was not what was being shown in the promotion at the time.

When we politely asked about it, the manager—a guy with tattoos, a goatee, and brown hair—gave us nothing but rude attitude. Instead of explaining the situation or apologizing for the misleading advertising, he was dismissive and borderline aggressive. Honestly, the way he spoke to us was completely unprofessional and unnecessary.

It’s incredibly frustrating when you’re misled by advertising, especially when kids are involved and excited about getting what was shown on the screen. The poor customer service just made it worse. Definitely won’t be...
