Halo Espresso — Restaurant in South Perth

We went for lunch on a beautiful Sunday. It was quiet- great, because we were there with a toddler.

Ordered 4 meals and drinks. Pot of tea comes cold, take it back- they seem surprised, all good, they will make a new one. Hot tea comes a few minutes later. Food comes at the same time, they served me a Mediterranean bowl instead of the ‘Healthy bowl’ we had ordered. I take it back- they will make a new one. It comes a bit later. They have forgotten the kimchi. (Even though it had already been sent back). They bring a side of kimchi. In the meantime we have ordered toast with a side of avo on the side for the toddler. Order whole meal bread because the toddler doesn’t like ‘seeds on bread’. It comes on multigrain bread. At this point I’m over sending stuff back, my toddler is tired and also isn’t eating the toast. We finish up and leave. Food was ok- not worth the hassle and would have rather gone somewhere else. Service was ok. Everything was brought out in a somewhat timely manner, one of the waiters did apologise about the forgotten kimchi but no real effort made to amend the continuous mistakes. whether its my morning coffee or my afternoon lunch, I can honestly say every experience I've had at Halo espresso has been absolutely flawless. let me clarify that this does not mean the occasional coffee wasn't exact temperature from the last but that every single day I go into Halo Elle and the team try there absolute best to truly serve there customers with care. I have to admit I'm not usually the one to write a google review because lets be honest this isn't about the text but the stars, but for those actually reading this other than Halo, don't just take my word for it but instead actually experience Halo for yourself. of course when you do go to halo and one day you happen to get that "cold croissant" or the "small eggs benedict" (definitely making fun of the last bad review haha) don't be stupid enough to write a bad review expecting anyone to care, instead be a normal human being and realize nobody is perfect and the staff at Halo would do everything to fix and make good of your experience.
