Ordered from their digital menu panel. Didn't get what I ordered so I took it back to the counter and the girl who appeared to be the day manager. No apology for the mistake, she couldn't even manage a friendly smile. The order was replaced but it was exactly the same as the first product. I took it immediately back to the same girl. Once again, no apology, no smile and was told that what I said I had ordered they no longer sell. I explained that it was on their digital (touch) menu panel and was told flatly that it couldn't have been. It was virtually implied that I was making it up or actually lying or that was how I felt. I said to her that she wasn't very friendly nor customer focused at which she just turned and walked away with her "deadpan" expression. I was eventually offered a refund which I took. I did say to the girl who was processing my refund that I was less than impressed with the situation and I would not be returning to this store. I admit perhaps I directed that comment to the wrong person as she seemed quite amicable but once again no apology for their mistake and no friendly attitude. There were quite a few customers who witnessed the debacle as the store seemed quite busy. Having been a fast food restaurant manager myself for many years for amusingly McDonald's immediate competitor I am very well versed in how a customer should be treated and indeed was customer service is all about. There was no apparent customer service at this location. They must understand that fast food is totally about customers and without customers there is no business. Read moreOnce again, they did not get my order right. Ask and pay for extra onions? Got no onions. Didn't tell them to remove the pickles? Removed the pickles. Ask them for one burger? got a totally different burger. This has happened on over 10 separate occassions over the course of three years that Ive been in this area. I have returned on multiple occasions and complained multiple times but still, the staff aren't able to perform simple tasks that they set out to do. I'm beginning to question whether the staff are capable of reading the slips that come with the orders? I've worked in McDonald's before and this isn't even an honest mistake anymore, it's complete incompetence. Please get your staff to do a literacy test before working, so you can confirm that they are capable of reading at all.
Do I have to deconstruct my burger in the parking lot every time I order something from here before I drive home? Just to swing around again, and tell them, hey, you forgot to add the thing I paid for? Or hey, you forgot to do the job you're paid to do. Imagine buying a bottle of sprite to go home and open it up, and finding out it's water. Would you crack it open in the supermarket to make sure it's sprite? Why do we have to check our food because your staff are incompetent and can't follow basic instructions?

Read moreI could count on one hand, the number of times I've received good customer service and/or a good meal at this McDonald's (ie.friendly & professional service with a smile // order is fresh, hot & well presented).
There are countless times, however, where the service (I wouldn't even call it that 🙄...) has been non-existent(!!) and the food, absolutely disgusting! I've been overcharged, double -charged, been grunted at, had orders basically thrown at me from the drive-thru window (sadly I actually anticipate this behaviour from 1 particular older Asian-looking lady working nightshift(?)), been barked at through the speaker box, followed by more rudeness at the subsequent windows by the cold, unsmiling, staff who give you zero interaction, zero eye -contact and zero offer of even a simple 'thank you' .... just "Next window" 😟
I see another reviewer mentions the 'impressive, savvy, BManager' and her style of training her staff -- personally, I've only ever thought "obvs no care given to training staff" & wondered WHERE/WHY Management and/or Franchisee presence is not evident at this location 🤷♀️🤦♀️
But if the above doesnt rate as frustrating enough.. to get home & open up your order to find this..... (see photos) 😒🤨 it's simply NOT OK Gateways McDonald's!!!
