From the moment you walk in the door this small space boasts warmth + abundance of goodies that both captivate your senses + eyes. Saturday morning was in full swing with a beautiful collection of freshly baked pastries + sourdough a plenty to choose from, along with a fresh display fridge of toasties + wraps. We chose from the menu as we were dining during breakfast. The avocado on sourdough boasted fresh punchy flavours whilst choosing the side addition of housemade hash brown was a joy of crunch in itself to be had. First time coming to this lovely joint and it did not disappoint! Nikita (hope I’m spelling this right) was incredibly gracious and welcoming; honestly gave us the star treatment.

Coffee was delicious and considering how busy they were, came out in a timely manner.

I cannot stress how happy we were with our first visit to Flinders, we will certainly be coming back again.

From the bustling vibe of locals grabbing their morning cuppa, to the delicious baked goods everything about Flinders Lane Cafe is sublime.

Awfully unpleasant experience this morning regarding service (or lack there of). I was told to “find another cafe” because the girl behind the counter “didn’t feel like serving me”, due to my association to someone she had personal issues with. I found it extremely unprofessional and unwarranted as I have had no dealings with this girl, and have been nothing but polite and respectful during my previous visits to Flinders Lane. I also found it very disappointing that the two male workers appeared to ignore the situation and allow her to prioritise her personal issues...
