Dilon's Kitchen — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

A group of five of us went to Dilon's Kitchen for dinner. We arrived just before 6 pm for our booking and chatted for perhaps 20 minutes before placing our order. The food arrived at about 8 pm.

Now the food was very good, the helpings were generous and the price was very reasonable. But the wait was awful. We commented about this to the waitress when we finished and she said that they were short-staffed. That may well have been true but we should have been warned at the outset that there would be an extremely long wait. We may well have decided to go elsewhere. Or at least ordered as soon as we sat down.

I am quite certain that several other groups who arrived later than us were served much more quickly that we were. Maybe there was a mix up in the kitchen. Whatever the reason, we left feeling very dissatisfied with...

Dillon's hospitality and passion for what he does is clear as soon as you step in his cozy restaurant. This was a recommendation from a local friend and lived up to its expectations. Service was spotless, everyone was extremely kind and thoughtful and professional. Food was absolutely amazing! We love spicy authentic Indian food and we found what we were looking for! Again we enjoyed superbly flavoured and aesthetically pleasing dishes. Best Indian flavours that we have had. Lamb Masala, Vegetable Jal Frezi and naan bread were all so yummy that we didn't want the experience to end.
