Decided to pop in to Entice Food & Wine for brunch on our holiday and what a great choice we made! We thought that we could buy our son a ham and cheese melt but it was only the lunch menu. The friendly staff were very accommodating and whipped it up for him anyway with a small plate of complimentary chips! Food arrives in a timely fashion and it is DELICIOUS! The “paddock” was my pick and my wife went with an eggs Benny. Perfectly poached eggs, generous bacon with golden toasted bread and a fantastic hollandaise! Fresh, tasty and very well presented! The coffee is also AMAZING. Definitely recommend if in the area, friendly staff, great food and bustling atmosphere! 5/5!

Great place for a quick stop. Beautifully made coffee, polite and attentive wait staff and wait time very reasonable. Ordered a serve of bruschetta which was amazing, fresh ingredients served on lightly toasted Turkish bread drizzled with a dash of oil and balsamic vinegar however my only criticism would be the $21 for the price of the dish which in my opinion was a little bit on the pricey side considering the aray of options for restaurants and cafes you have along the Esplanade. In saying that still very happy and would definitely come back again. Close to the beach and plenty of seating also

Really amazing service. Comfy chairs right up to the edge of the footpath. Two steak sandwiches and iced coffees for lunch. Really helpful, happy and upbeat table service staff. Offered water with ice and all things condiments. Highly recommended. Back again today Saturday 22nd July 2023. One burger...one steak sandwich...one iced coffee and one iced chocolate. Still great views and the food was Enticing. 😀

Absolutely awful service. First of all when we asked one of the waitresses for some table water she said it would be faster if I went and stood in the line to order again at the bar rather than for her to bring some to the table.

Our coffees then took forever and arrived just as it started to pour with rain. We had to attempt to move an umbrella ourselves with no assistance. The umbrella did little to stop against the rain and as my bowl of pancakes and all our food started to drown in rainwater. We then stood up with our coffee cups and huddled under the umbrella to try and stay dry. I only got to eat half my breakfast before it became absolutely saturated. When the rain finally stopped and they came to clear our table two waitresses asked us if we'd enjoyed our breakfast almost expecting a positive response. Obviously we did not enjoy. We didn't even get to eat half of it! One of the girl looked at me blankly I asked why no one had come and helped us or even attempted to move us. She said she hadn't seen us - the table full of people standing up huddled under an umbrella! How hadn't she hadn't seen us!

I only got to eat half my breakfast and consumed my coffee standing up in the pouring rain. I think a lot more could have been done to assist or even to attempt to make this a pleasant breakfast. The one redeeming wait staff was the man who came over at the end and offered us another free round of coffee. Unfortunately by this point we were all freezing and wet and didn't want to wait around any longer. We could only assume that this second round of coffee would take just as long as the ones we...

16/1/19 our family group went to Entice for Lunch. Meals ordered were burgers, some children meals , fishcakes etc and I asked for a Steak Sandwich but no chips or bread as I intensely dislike Sourdough and Turkish Bread which seemed to be all that was on offer. The steak seemed old and IMHO so doggie tasting I expected it to bark at me and the salad was one slice of tomato some minced up purple stuff and a mountain of dry tasteless green vegetable. It was simply awful. The other meals were AOK apparently. It all came quickly and we paid for all meals on the day despite mine being so bad. I thought $19.00 was outrageous for awful steak and old dried salad makings (older then me most probably) . I think very hot weather is a challenge with keeping salad stuff fresh and Entice is not alone in this issue but there are ways to solve the problem and its called refrigeration. Why Entice and others only offer Sourdough and Turkish Bread is beyond me. $1.80 at Coles will buy a loaf of normal wholemeal or white bread and it keeps OK for a week in refrigeration. Sometimes health considerations mean that some people will prefer a wholemeal or...

Short version: Food is underwhelming, pick things that are hard to get wrong. Service was better than the food.

Longer version: We ordered fish and chips, kids fish and chips, calamari, eggs benedict and a chicken burger.

The seafood dishes were fine, pretty uninspiring. Either chips or salad. It would be nice to have smaller portions of the sides and get both. I'd say it was all straight from a packet in the freezer.

The burger was ridiculous. So tall it needed a knife through it to hold it together. How anyone would eat such a burger is lost on me. I pulled off the very firm and unripe slices of tomato - it was ok overall. The crumbed chicken pattie was clearly from a packet also.

Eggs benedict was the pick of the meals. Hard to get it wrong. The sourdough was more bread than toast, however.

Underwhelming food only propped up by above average service. The wait staff deserve better cooks...
