At 11:50am today 9th August my partner and I were super excited to try this crepe place. We rocked up and a lady came to the front to seat us. She did not have a smile on her face at all. “Table for two?” She asked. “Yes thanks” we replied. She said they have to clean off the table first. Then she must have said “wait here” but we obviously didn’t hear exactly what she said and started to follow her in. Then she turned and held up her hand and forcefully said “wait there!” Her facial expression was super cold and scary and angry (like we were the most inconvenient customers and she didn’t want to be there) It really scared my partner and actually brought them to tears so they had to walk away. When the staff member came back from cleaning the table, I apologised and told her we were actually gonna head off. Does this staff member know she is not happy and warming? If an employee doesn’t want to be there maybe consider a different job or know that it’s their job to be welcoming and kind to customers so customers feel comfortable to dine there. I’m sure your food is amazing but we won’t be back to try it purely because of that staff interaction. One person really can make a difference. Please consider relaying the importance of customer service - we were really looking forward to coming here to try the food and this has left such a bad impression to the point where we are genuinely not comfortable to...
Read moreLuca the rudest Maite D I've ever come across. Turned me off my crepes. Had my kids and my family in for an annual catch up and waited where it says "wait to be seated' . Didn't greet is , waited 10mins and when asked for a table told us that we hadn't been waiting and that we should've booked and that the only way to get in was to go online. I told him I believed he should be greeting people and he flat out told me "Not his Job' and that it's my fault for not booking. This is true and I own it (tho I didn't organise the catch up) still on us. I just don't get how he needed to be so flat out rude about it. I mean it's hospitality and this was absolutely inhospitable. As an executive chef myself , I would be horrified to know any of our staff were behaving like this with our guests. Full Stop. Sort it out Flos, be professional Lucas. Oh...and when he realised I was writing this he chased me down and verbally attacked me in front of my family and the involved other guests waiting for tables which added to the awkwardness and discomfort of the...
Read moreI recently visited this place in Mooloolaba and had a frustrating experience. Upon arrival, there was a sign indicating we should wait to be seated, but despite several staff members walking past, no one acknowledged us. As the queue grew, we were still ignored. A simple greeting like “Someone will be with you shortly” would have gone a long way, but that never came.
After waiting for a while, I decided to approach the staff myself and ask to speak with the manager. The manager was busy with other customers, which I completely understood, but when I politely suggested that it would be helpful for someone to acknowledge the queue, she responded defensively. Instead of addressing the issue, she told me I didn’t need “to have an attitude,” even though I had made my request calmly and respectfully.
It’s a shame because the service really took away from the experience. I hope they take some feedback on board and improve their customer service, as it’s such an important part of dining out. Unfortunately, I won’t be...
