I took my nieces and nephews after visiting a friend on his yacht. I was truly shocked and the treatment of children in this restaurant. We arrived at 7pm and I explicitly stated that we wanted to get the kids fed and wanted somewhere to sit down and asked if there was a kids menu.
We sat down and then were told to hurry up and order as he wanted to close. We ordered some food for the kids and some snacks for the adults. The service was very rushed and they clearly didn’t want to cater to kids.
In the fish and chips which was processed fish and should have been suitable for a 2 year old had a plastic contaminant in it. We were lucky the mother of the baby found it when cutting up the food and ate the piece with the plastic. We couldn’t risk giving this food to the kids.
I showed the waiter/manager and they insisted it was a fish bone and quickly took the plastic. The lack of care for the child’s safety was abhorrent. Evan after they didn’t charge us and took the kids food away they still charged us extra for the chips that was all we could feed the kids. They also had the nerve to add on the card surcharge. We didn’t even get a complimentary drink or desert to make up for the terrible experience of putting a baby’s life at risk.
I spent close to 20 years in food services and have also been a mystery shopper. The contaminant was 100% plastic. I’m undecided on whether I should report them for neglecting their...

In all my years working in hospitality in both front of house and in the kitchen I have never heard a waitress speak to customers the way we were spoken to. Not only was the waitress running around frantically in a completely empty restaurant she was constantly walking off whilst we were trying to show our vaccine records. As we had a visually impaired person with us there was a minor issue with bringing up his record in the 3 seconds we were given before the waitress walked off again, when she returned she started loudly stating that we were confusing her. Now I understand that things can get a bit full on and walk ins are unexpected but if someone gets so confused that they forget how to do the whole "customer service" thing, I'm pretty sure they should attempt a different...
Read moreOk this place is a bit shabby needs a renovation or new younger owners who have the energy to turn what is an amazing space into and even more amazing place to be. All that wasted space inside is so sad when you look you just see opportunity to turn this into a hidden seafood cocktail bar for the more high end clients..... That being said ! The seafood is to die for, the ladies who run the joint are like ya mum so make you feel so comfortable and the cooking of the seafood is done by what is an expert seafood cook who has been cooking it for a very long time you can tell. Would have been 5 stars but lost one because you could do so much more with this place so bit sad. We will 100%...
