Close-by and free of charge parking, lovely beach and not very busy. As you can see, waves quite high, may be a bit tricky with children but great for surfers.

We got pummeled by some crazyyy waves here today and absolutely loved it. The water was warm (25°C) but refreshing. There were people there, but it wasn't crowded by any means. There are bathrooms nearby (with soap at the sinks yaay) to get changed, along with a water fountain and a shower to rinse sand off when you're leaving.

The beach is free for the public to access and is monitored by the Kawana Lifesavers until 6 p.m. If you're not familiar with the waves, I'd advise against swimming outside of...

One of the underdogs of the sunshine Coast. The Patrolled Beach here is quiet with plenty of parking, public toilets, beach shower. Some good uncrowded surf breaks all smack Bang in the middle of the Sunshine Coast. Not the best beach for children and as deep water and in shore trough with a sweep current is...
