This subway needs order and I am putting nearly full blame on the managers and owners. We went in today around lunch time, which I understand is a rush, however, if you are set in a well known popular area, you would maybe want more than 2 staff on during lunch rush. Unacceptable. The staff need to be completely trained before being left alone as clearly the managers are neglecting them and leaving them to fend for themselves in broad daylight. The wait time initially was a disappointment and then as soon as we began the terror there was no hi, hello or how are you before taking our order. Customers service?? The staff were all over the place with our orders and could not remember which was which. No pens to mark the subs and not much communication between the 2 girls. There was obviously a staff member who hadn’t been trained properly, which I understand, but if you have a trainee, you should have an extra staff member to assist with serving. Health and safety in the workplace is critical, the staff were using the same gloves the entire time we were in store as they used the till, did salads, breads, meats, etc. the cross contamination was extreme. If there were serious allergies or for example a coeliac was ordering and the gluten transferred, what would you do? Overall, the food was mediocre and I will not be returning to this Subway until the managers and owners have trained their staff correctly....
Read moreI ordered $89 worth of subway for my sons birthday party. It was ordered to be picked up from kawana shopping world subway at 9.20am on Sunday 19th march. When arriving at that subway we were told the order was actually being made in mooloolaba now and not to worry as its only 5 minutes up the road. We were working with limited time so it would have been good to be advised of this change previous to the pick up time. The subway sandwiches that we received were then the incorrect order. Ment for 4 and 5 year old children, we had requested plain ham and cheese (no salad) turkey and cheese, chicken and cheese and we received spicy salami, onion dressing, olives, capsicums, onion. So many topping the children would not eat. The food was wasted and our guests hungry. When I rang and gave this feedback. The manager said she would check the cameras and fire the staff that had made the sandwiches if what it was saying was true. She said she would follow up with me and I sent her our original order along with photos of what we received. I have tried to follow up and the manager is now not responding to me. Read moreI cannot express enough how dissatisfied I am with you service in regard to this order. If a customer takes the time to order something 5 days in advance, then the order should be ready at the requested time, not 45 minutes later.
In addition, the staff members involved were indifferent, sullen and just plain rude. If you know you have this catering order in advance, then why was only one staff member working until midday? There is no excuse for poor planning. Then he tells me 'we cannot make your order 3 days in advance'. Of course I know you can't. But you knew it was needed, and the fact your store was busy is not relevant. The staff member should have owned the problem and apologised. That is all he needed to do to defuse the situation. Instead he pushed back with excuses and in the end simply handed the order over with no apology for the fact it was 45 minutes late.
Train your staff properly, and plan appropriately. There is no excuse for the service I received today and I would definitely not...
