Hi, I'm the manager of Noodle Box Mooloolaba regards to the review that one customer have made toward our restaurant. I won't be mentioning the name, here I quote what this customer wrote on the 14th of May towards our shop: "It was disgusting, waste of money and stomach space.."
I just want to explain what happened with this order, this customer made an online order with DoorDash, ordered one Nasi Goreng and one Malay Satay chicken and changed the noodle to fried rice. Later on that day, they called and complained our restaurant provided them with wrong order said "We've order Nasi Goreng and why you gave us a rice dish!" I replied "Nasi Goreng is fried rice dish" the customer soon interrupt me said" no no no! it supposed to be a noodle dish!" I explained "Nasi Goreng is an Indonesian styled fried rice, it means fried rice in Indonesia" The other person said angrily next to the phone "Are kidding me?!" I said "if you don't believe me you can google on the internet" They also said "it looked like noodle to me on your DoorDash menu, and said bye and hang up the phone. Later on that night they rang again and said they've left a bad review and will never came again. I asked nicely said: "Are you the person who rang earlier about the Nasi Goreng?" The customer said "NO NO NO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO AM I, and its not just about the fried rice, the taste of it is just bad as well as your dim sims, we will never come here again!" The customer also complained about the spice in the fried rice.
Here I just want to clarify that I don't think our Nasi Goreng is bad, in fact it is very very popular among MANY MANY of our customers, I also explained to this customer that "the flavor of Nasi goreng may not be everyone's cup of tea, you don't have to like it."
