Princess of Ming Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Swan Hill

Wow we ate there on Friday 19/7. We had a huge day driving and the place was packed. They managed to fit us on two tables (my parents on one and the 4 of us on another) next to each other. This enabled us to still share dishes with each other. The food was amazing, the best we have ever had and we have been to many 'big city china town restaurants'. Our daughter tried a fried banana and ice cream for dessert with chocolate topping. She doesn't eat bananas- but ate all of this. My Mum had deep fried Ice cream, it was the best she has ever had in her 60 years. We were traveling through from SA. If you are hungry and in Swan Hill, then this is the place to eat. Overpriced is a understatement , thought i would treat myself to a meal well all i can say is go to the other end of town there is a way better shop than this place. For the price i paid which barly feed one person i could feed the whole famly at the other place with noodles and spring rolls. and still have money to spare for a soft serve. the worse part is the meal i got should of come with a rice but it was extra, just shows how people can be so greedy for money, a busy shop gives extras, a poor shop ups prices to cover costs of staying open. sorry for the bad review. but there was nothing to be praised about...

Restaurant itself is daggy/outdated (but then alot of country Chinese places are). The food wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either. Way too much soy sauce through the fried rice (it looked brown) but the pork with vegetables was nice. The honey chicken was good also & the sauce was nice with it.
