I’m a proud regular at Acacia Eatery in Frenchs Forest and let me tell you—when they say their coffee is good, they’re not kidding. It’s not just good. It’s cancel-your-other-plans-and-sip-in-silence good.

But the real magic? The staff. They’re the reason I keep coming back (well, them and the coffee AND food). Adrian, the owner, is so effortlessly friendly it’s like a personality superpower. Lola and Jess? Hilarious, lovely, and somehow always composed even during the morning stampedes. Customer service queens.

Hugh and Lia are usually the ones taking my order—and honestly, I think they’re lowkey mind readers. No matter how many times I change up my coffee order, they’ve memorised it like it’s the chorus of their favorite song. Sometimes I rock up and it’s already waiting for me—a morning win.

Even during chaotic rush hour or those bleary early mornings, the vibe stays upbeat and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a local, even if it’s your first time.

Food-wise? I’m a sucker for the eggs your way—fresh, hot, and clearly made to order. And don’t even get me started on Acacia at Night. Yes, they do dinner, yes, their cocktails are absolutely to die for, and yes, you will need a booking because everyone and their dog (literally, it’s dog friendly) wants in. And for good reason!

Whether you’re after a lazy brunch or a night out with a spritz in hand, Acacia...

Thank you to the staff at Acacia Eatery for delicious food and giving great service under trying circumstances. Considering they had at least 3 large groups and service was slow, the staff did their best and the food was delicious. I used commonsense and ordered our meals as soon as we were seated. There were a few frayed tempers which can be understood with such long waits, unfortunately large groups always risk slow service. I was there with my kids to have dinner at 7.45 then go watch the fireworks at 9. We had entree but time was running out so I sent the kids to go to the fireworks. The staff kindly prepared their meals in takeaway containers and kept them warm until they returned. The desserts were beautiful too. I for one was very grateful that there was a local restaurant willing to open for NYE, and we were not disappointed. Thank you to the lovely waitstaff who were so sweet considering the criticism they copped from some of the patrons. We’ll...

I love Arcadia Eatery. I’ve been several times now. For brunch, for cocktails with the girls, for lunch. The Frenchs Forest area was well overdue for an eatery like this. I haven’t been here for dinner and drinks yet but I look forward to doing it soon.

Food is excellent. The cocktails are excellent. The service is fantastic. I love that the owner is friendly and involved and genuinely interested in his patrons. He has a great team of staff. Good is consistently great. Glenrose has been crying out for a place like this. It does have Stella Blu, granted. The food there is good but the owner is unpleasant and openly yells at patrons.

Arcadia Eatery is a gem. Would love to see live music of an evening to really make it a meal out with friends or a date, but LOCAL!

Had a lovely Father’s Day brunch - it was super easy to book online via their website. We were seated promptly and food came out in a timely manner. As always both the coffee/food and service were impeccable. Friendly helpful staff always with a big smile and lovely ambient location which is always clean. The owner has meticulous attention to detail which is reflected in the delicious menu, restaurant decor and the way dishes are plated (see pic of the KIDS waffles attached). We love the dinner menu here as well. A real local gem.

I’ve eaten there 3 times now - twice for lunch and once for dinner. Each time ordering something new. The meals are constantly excellent. Super fresh, huge portions and delicious. They can make kale taste amazing! The sizes are generous. The bacon is extra crispy. The meals are plated nicely too. If ordering hot drink I do shears ask for extra hot as it has come out a little too cold for me. It’s that’s the only thing I can fault. Hope they make a success of it and stick around as they deserve it.
