Thai Kitchen Glenrose — Restaurant in Sydney

Started with satay chicken it was beautiful.. Then out came out bbq beef and it was boiled beef with no bbq sauce either and had sweet chilli sauce accompanying it... Tasted well like boiled meat no flavour big disappointment... But the disappointment was about to get bigger, out came one of my favourites crispy pork belly with basil chilli sauce.. The aroma emminating from the bowl was that of a barnyard/stable it didn't taste like it but it was extremely difficult to get past the smell... I'm a country person so knows what a barn thats used by animals smells like... We left more than half the food, I've never.left a restaurant leaving that much food ever before now feeling nauseous from my experience.... Also there is no bbq facilities in the kitchen... Big disappointment as I usually...

got there for dinner a couple of days ago after ringing to ee how busy it was. they could hardly understand what I was telling them (a table for 2 they asked "for 3 ?"). a new staff welcomed us and couldn't answer questions about some dishes so we had a long wait until someone came to give us more details. we ordered massaman beef and duck salad. the curry didn't have the best cuts of beef nor was it cooked properly (meat tough, big chunks of hard potato), runny tasteless sauce and some bits cold (proof that it was heated in a microwave). the duck salad was ok, a bit too sweet and half of the "meat" was actually untrimmed so was just fat. quite disappointing overall, no one came to check on us if...

Absolutely delicious! I bought the cashew nut chicken yesterday. Great variety of vegetables and enough sauce to cover the rice. They use these divided containers to keep the rice seperate so it stays light and fluffy while you make your way home. Added benefit I just found out is that also fantastic for leftovers the next day if like me you eat child sized portions. The quality of the second heat was significantly better than the containers without the divider and so good I had to share here. Another small detail is quality chopsticks.
