Ordered take away Friday dinner. Menu said tempura prawns & vegetables served with rice salad $23 (asked server do you make your own tempura & yes was the answer ) What you got was 2 soggy lettuce, small ball of dry stick rice,6 slithered slices of sweet potato zucchini & 2 prawns no wider then index finger all coated in oily tempura. It had no flavour & clearly all frozen fried. Monday I noticed the sushi counter inside selling the same size prawns for $2.50 each. I did complain to the staff in restaurant hopeful that perhaps there had been a mistake!!! Then they admit yes indeed it frozen & that it's very expensive!!! To add further insult the staff member says go away you are making me angry. Charming admitting that to a community member. Will never go back. Stop ripping off the community shame on you. Who ever owns this establishment a formal complaint will go to centre management plus the community groups on FB. So...

I’ve tried to support these guys since they opened the restaurant but their customer service is terrible

I just started going back because I did like the sizzling teriyaki chicken but the last two times I’ve got it the chicken was like leather

The chicken was so bad I said something to the owner and the response I got was just don’t eat it then

When I told the owner I’m not sure what’s wrong with your chicken but it must be either old or you’ve overcooked it to the point it’s like leather and he said it’s fresh probably just overcooked so just don’t eat it

He never offered to make me another one he just walked away

Disappointing & not with the high prices! I ordered ramen from the lunch special menu and it was nothing like ramen. I should have questioned the fact that there was only a Katy’s chicken, beef or vegetable ramen available on the menu (ramen is traditionally pork based) the broth was a big standard Asian soup broth (nothing like ramen) it came with 4 measly slices of crumbed rubbery chicken, the half boiled egg was literally just a boiled egg (not sou flavoured). On another occasion I asked for no shrimp in my okonomiyaki which to my surprise I was told not possible as it’s frozen!! Will not be ordering...
