I understand it was towards the end of the day but rude customer service should not be experienced.
starting off with the bald buff guy with a beard, he made eye contact with me and walked off to another table when I tried to get his attention to register that I've been waiting patiently towards the side in the shade as others rushed the front door to get a table and I let others get ahead of me as they had young kids. the deliveroo driver next to me saw the waiter make eye contact with me and said "unbelievable "on my behalf. when I did grab his attention the waiter aggressively stared at me, almost expecting me to tell him what to do. this guy shouldn't be put on busy shifts if he doesn't know how to control his temper in high pace environments.
the next time I experienced passive aggressive behaviour from your staff was from the tall European waitress who took my acai bowl away from me when I hadn't finished the bowl. she asked youre finished right? and took the bowl without hearing my answe. I said no I haven't finished and she threw down the bowl. after I had finished I put my cutlery and used serviette into the bowl to indicate that I've finished and to help her out with the cleaning, she came over and in a smart arse manner asked if I was finished. have experienced all this pettiness from your staff today I asked her "what do you think?", "think really hard about this one" and she said "I don't know" and walked off.
my partner also found hair in her food and the same waitress when informed asked her what we wanted with a smirk on her face, to which my partner replied that she wouldn't be eating the...
Read moreHi Adam, Thanks for replying, however, unfortunately not in that order. When the second accident with the water bottle happened I straight away went to pick it up from the floor and that’s when I noticed my coffee was gone. So Tina came and I asked about my coffee and in a very non politely way she offered to make another one and for that very reason I didn’t accept.. then I left and after 1 minute I came back really polite and approached her to say I was a customer I apologized for the noise caused by the accidents and said I was really disappointed. She then said: I already offers you a coffee and won’t keep asking and would stop talking over me. I then said it’s ok and a walked away. That’s how I got to the 1 star. I hope we all have a better day tomorrow. Thank you
Terrible customer service. Young works were friendly and helpful. Middle age woman working on cafe, potentially the owner was really rude. We just had our lunch and on our way out, my little boy that accidentally clip his helmet on his on skin and was crying a fair bit. Meanwhile, she cleaned up our table while I was helping him, for my surprise, when I asked about my coffee (3/4 to 1/2 full - on a take away cup) on her own words, I put it on the bin as I thought you were leaving. Very disappointed...
Read moreDon't bother coming here if you have an invisible illness like fibromyalgia, cancer, chronic fatigue, auto-immune disease etc. I stood near the counter for 10 minutes to get served then had to sit down because of fatigue. I asked the service staff multiple times if they could give me table service, explaining I was too tired to stand in the queue and could they please take my order at the table. I even offered cash to make it easier for them to place my order But no, I was told several times that I'd have to go stand outside in a long queue if I wanted to get served. As you can imagine, even though this used to be one of my preferred cafes, I won't be going again. To the cafe owner, please have more consideration for people with hidden disabilities. Even though we look healthy, we may be really struggling and need some support at times!
