I will say that the food is very tasty, the price is close to unbeatable and in a prime location, so this little gem of a place has some serious potential and just needs a little operational/management polishing to really shine! I want to express that our experience was situational and probably not a regular accurrance, so I do not wish to discorage from eating here, my intent is to leave some restaurant and owner some experience based experience. I know the stresses of running a restaurant, especially when things don't go according to plan, but being rude to customers or staff trying to help customers is never okay! It is simply unprofessional and poor management. Your relationship with staff is so important to a small business's success. No amount of training or micromanagement can replace genuine buy-in. I understand the staff is newer and still being trained, so blaming staff for mistakes is only going to hurt those efforts. A lot of what we witnessed was caused by the stress of unexpected events and poor kitchen prep or team communications. We had 3 dishes that we ordered that were with tofu that came out as veggie only because they had no tofu, but they didn't tell us until the food came out, had we known that we probably would have gone elsewhere. First and foremost, the quality and taste of the food was very good. However, our experience was ruined because we had to wait more than an hour for our food. We ordered two fried rice. The first plate arrived after more than an hour, the second one 15 minutes later. After the hour mark we asked when our food would arrive and they answered with "it's on its way". You would then expect both plates to arrive at the same time. After I paid, I let the owner know that the waiting time was way too much.
