Barbara's is probably my new favourite Italian restaurant. My partner took me for dinner to celebrate my Birthday last night and we just had the best time. From the moment we sat down, table water was provided and refilled without us needing to ask and empty plates cleared from the table almost immediately. The food was exceptional. Fresh, creamy oysters, perfectly tender octopus, light and chewy pizza with the perfect amount of char and a cream brulee that was so light and delicate it almost couldn't decide if was a solid or a liquid. My only complaints would be the lack of pizza spatula to serve, the soap dispenser in the female bathroom was broken and the wine list. As you can see, there is no discrisption or names of the wines, however, our server was more then willing to bring out a few bottles so that we could read the backs. So very minor considering how good an experience we had. I will return, I will bring friends and family and I will highly recommend Barbara's to anyone looking for Italian in the Rouse Hill area.

We visited Barbara‘s Italian restaurant on a Wednesday evening and it was very busy. However, we got a table without any reservation. The waitress was super friendly and based on her recommendation, we ordered Zucchini Flowers, Barbara’s Special Pizza and Penne Mediterranean Pasta. We loved each and every dish and they tasted very authentic! The service was super fast and the place is very cozy too and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for an authentic Italian meal! Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambience - 4/5

GoodAlthough45To come outlong time it took for foodFantastic good and service. Kindly the restaurant fit us in at 17:45 when we booked only on the day we wanted to attend (our fault!) and noted we needed to be it by 19:30, all fine with us. The only hiccup was the duration it too for food to come out, despite the contained time slot, no food came out before 45 minutes passed. Thankfully we were still out with time to spare. Food was excellent so still going with 5⭐

Last night's flavour was Italian and Barbara's Italian was the restaurant of choice. One of my friends has eaten there before, so I was antisipating it to be a good night. The first thing I noticed as I walked in was the size of the restaurant. it was a bit squashy going through the door with Takeaway customers waiting for their order. Everything else was standard. The wait staff were friendly and happy to help. It was a busy restaurant. People seemed to be enjoying themselves. It has a buzzing atmosphere. The price of the food was reasonable and enough variety of Italian dishes to choose from. Some of the people at our table had Garlic Pizza with Brushetta topping. It was well presented and look tasty. My friends seemed to enjoy what was presented. The other starter was, Salt and Pepper. I decided to just have a main and my choice was the mediterranian Penne. When you come to Barbara's Italian, expect big serves. They don't serve small portions. However, I think, it would benefit the restaurant if they have an half serve option of pasta. My pasta was just too big for me to finish. Although, the price I paid for my pasta was worth it. I did think the pasta dish had too many olives and it overwhelmed the eggplant and other veggies in the dish. I do love olives but less is more in this case. Barbara's Italian Restaurant seems to be a very popular choice for locals. I found the restaurant very loud, which made it hard to talk without raising your voice. And I was told the people behind our table, didn't appreciate the volume of conversation coming from our table. I think the size of the restaurant is too small for the amount of patrons dining last night. As much as I had a great night with my friends, I was a little underwhelmed by my experience at Barbara's. Some of the other dishes presented on our table also lacked a little finesse when plated up. However, my friends thought their meals where flavoursome and enjoyable, which is the most important thing. All in all, I think Barbara's Italian is value for money, a popular place to go and the food is tasty but a few tweeks, I think my next visit there will be worth it. PS food note... the chef cooked the broccollini perfectly! It was my favourite for the night. I could have had a big bowl of this and be satisfied for...

the staff here is great so nice and the decorations omg devine (except for the foam on the wall, the ripped ones ruined it) but one thing that made my rating a two… was the food. now i’m not that much of a picky eater but that food made me want to be. the other day when i went to barbra’s i ordered a pepperoni pizza, and it was the most oily and disgusting thing ever. it should of been called give me my money back pizza or worse, heart attack pizza. and gelato is basically flavoured cream. when the waitress gave me my gelato it looked like milk! and it tasted like spoiled milk with nutella in it. when i was eating my pizza i could not wait to get to the crust because it was the only good thing about it. but i will say… the salt and pepper squid and the garlic pizza earned that 1 star for food. the staff is nice and all (very respectful) but sometimes the waiter would take out food while we were finishing up! I COUODVE EATEN THOSE LAST TWO PIECES OF CALAMARI!!! and they dropped a piece of fish on my cousins phone and decided it would be a good idea to place MORE FOOD ON IT!!! and very overpriced for the food ( i’m not going to have any money left to pay for my...
