UPDATE: Grateful to the management of Baskin Robins for not letting a bad review fall onto deaf ears. Have again started going back to Baskin Robins Entertainment Quarter!! Please know that we now have not encountered the same problems and happy to share that the staff now are properly trained and serves ice cream with smiles on their faces. Natrika, the young lady who works there is really really respectful and very good with kids. So proud of you Baskin Robins people for addressing the matter!! More power.
I would usually let these go but choosed not too because we love Baskin Robins so much especially the ones in Circular Quay. We would travel every week just to get our 8 year old boy with special needs his favourite scoop in circular quay. Today we went Baskin Robins Moore Park, my husband, 2 boys and baby girl and an elderly under my care. THE STAFF NAMED LULU had been terrible. Very poor costumer service. Racist and treated us like garbage. She clearly showed she does not like to be there and has no respect for any customer at all. She wasnt just rude to us but also to other customers. Please check your cctv we had to go back and really tell her what she did wrong but she remained un-apologetic and lying everything she did. She acts like she owns the place and people owed her. Very very disappointed with your staff. We do not wish her harm but please train her atleast. To you LULU, you do not look at people through their skin color. You treat all customer with dignity and respect. You serve food, you should be kind. You are a disgrace to...
Read moreAh, Baskin Robbins at the waterfront—where the view is as rich as the ice cream, and the prices make you question your life choices. You’re blessed with a stunning, postcard-perfect sight of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, which almost makes up for the fact that you just paid the equivalent of a gourmet steak for a single scoop of frozen happiness. Almost.
Now, don’t get me wrong—the ice cream is good. It’s creamy, flavorful, and comes in an exciting variety of options. But is it "let me take out a small loan" good? Not quite. I mean, I expected a delightful sugar rush, not a financial crisis.
As for the service, let’s just say the enthusiasm levels here are about as low as a half-melted sundae. The staff look like they’re enduring a personal existential crisis with every order, as if they’re trapped in an endless loop of scooping and suffering. You know they’re getting paid, but their expressions scream "We need hazard pay for this."
Would I come back? For the view, 100%. For the ice cream? Maybe if I win the lottery or if they start offering a "buy one, mortgage your house for the...
Read moreThe worst customer service i have ever gotten in Sydney. All i asked was if they had a specific flavour of milkshake and this ‘lovely person’ spoke to me like i was 2 years old and talked down to me. Then when i asked for a different flavour, she responded with ‘what’ and rolled her eyes. When i received the milkshake, she slammed the drink and the straw down and said ‘have a good day’ in the most sarcastic tone. I work in customer service and it gets stressful but this ‘human’ had no regard to give great customer service. Even this short, asian bloke with glasses didn’t even try and interact with the family next to me. He slammed the ice cream down for the little boy the family had. They all spoke rudely and i was personally disgusted that people could be like that towards a family. This isn’t the first bad review of customer service that they have and yet the owner or ceo hasn’t done anything about it. I encourage the company to do something about the workers. Honestly disgusting people there. They should pull their heads in and wake up to themselves. They’re not...
