Bayview Gladesville — Restaurant in Sydney

Comfy pub, great meals, excellent value bistro deals, easy parking. We ate here as a family plus extra guest on a Monday night. We decided to bring our guest here as the family had had a great night eating here the previous Thursday, when we had came to take advantage of the kids eat free with adult meals bistro deal. Well I got a very nice surprise when I saw they also had free kids meals(plus drink and an ice cream) on Monday-Wed when dining between 5.30-6.30pm. The kitchen staff were very happy to make changes to meals to deal with my fussy kids and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the food. They menu is also varied enough that I already have a few other meals that I am eager to try. I like the decor inside, especially the choice of different table and chair types. I like that everyone in the pub had plenty of space to sit apart from one another so we didn't feel crowded. But even on the previous Thursday, which was a much busier, the crowd in the outside area were mostly families but there was still a very calm atmosphere. It can be a little noisy inside, when you add the piped music and people talking, but it's not unbearable. Think we will def be keeping this up our sleeve as the automatic go to when we need a break...

From the moment we reached out to the Bayview Hotel to host our engagement party, we knew we were in excellent hands. Brice was incredibly responsive and professional, promptly answering all our emails and helping bring our vision to life in the months leading up to our party. Planning the event was seamless, with a variety of food and drink options to choose from, all at a very competitive price.

On the day of the party, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional - high quality, delicious and served in generous portions. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it! The service was equally outstanding. A huge thank you to Josh, Claudia, Sean and Rod, who were attentive, communicative, and went above and beyond to meet our needs throughout the event.

The Green Room was the perfect function space, with its intimate yet inviting vibe, private bar, disco ball, AV system and ample space for decorations like an easel and balloons. There was plenty of seating for guests while still allowing room to mingle.

The bayview is an amazing pub where the community is very friendly. Wednesday karaoke feels like a party and the bartenders are very warm and welcoming. The menu is a bit expensive but they have nice dishes although its sad that they dont actually have potatoe wedges. I never thought that sweet potatoe fries was really a better alternative but none the less its still a really fun pub to attend. They bayview is also a good comedy circuit and the live bands are really good as well. Their out door beer garden is really classy and i love the fact that you can get cider jugs for 15 bucks. Unlike other karaoke places i find that the staff have a better relationship with the customers as opposed to making you feel like your in a community centre this is a huge plus because it makes you feel important and included instead of isolated and ignored.
