A favourite family cafe and favourite weekday breakfast. Vasili has my Earl Grey Tea brewing before I sit down. So nice and hot it lasts through the meal. Sourdough Toast with Pepe Saya butter and house made Rhubarb and Strawberry Jam. A great start to the day. Natalie helps make a friendly morning team. Sunday breakfast of Porridge with Poached Pear, Macerated Strawberries, Pepitas and a drizzle of Honey. Nice and hot and a great combination of flavours. Special thanks to Georgia for being so friendly and attentive. Lunch deserves a special mention. Only my second visit for lunch. First time was a Black Angus Steak Sandwich. Brilliant. Today was the Wagyu Burger. Tasty Burger with Jack Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Gherkin, Crusty Onion Rings and Beetroot Relish. Served with Beer Battered Chips and Aioli. Thank you Vicky. What a feast! A long walk required after this experience. Easter Sunday for an early breakfast. One of the few Cafe's open in the area. Not surprising given the Greek family heritage and Orthodox Easter still being a week away. Deconstructed Gaucamole. The hotplate grilled Sourdough Toast has a wonderful charred flavour. All of the other elements combined perfectly for an extremely satisfying breakfast. Not at all heavy and little to walk off after. My usual Earl Grey Tea to compliment. Started to get very busy by 9am and staff were busy. Georgia was especially excited because her Mum woke for work at 7am and gave her Easter chocolates. Something to look forward too after work. Anzac Day breakfast. Time to indulge a little. Ricotta and Raspberry Hotcakes with a side of Smokey Bacon. A stack of beautiful light, airy Hotcakes with layers of grilled, caramelised Bananas and topped with crispy Smokey Bacon. Honey Yoghurt, Raspberries, Strawberries and Blueberries sprinkled with shards of Praline and micro greens, and drizzled with a Treacle and Maple Syrup sauce. It might sound a little sweet, but it's more adult than that. I think Casandra said it well when she said, "It's not a...

DINNER REVIEW: Came back to try the Dinner Menu. Warmly welcomed on arrival. Quickly seated and sparkling water and a on the house starter served. Beverages served quickly to the table. Friendly team members stopped for. a chat. The entrees were delicious, a Greek style .grilled Halloumi with tomato. We.orderrd the shared seafood platter, well presented, absolutely fresh seafood, and a yummy salad and crunchy chips. Smashed it, was spot on in portion sizes and taste. Dessert was a Greek pavlova, not too sweet, and loved the fresh berries. We love this cafe.
BRUNCH REVIEW: A modern open planned space with in and out door seating. Warmly welcomed in arrival and advised to choose our table from ones available. Handed chilled water and glasses, beverage order taken whilst we looked at the lunch menu. The freshly squeezed juices arrived in large glass. Coffee were works of art, spot on perfect. Mains served in a reasonable time, absolutely delicious and generous portions. Had a The Fork discount, so the bill was half priced. Had...
Read moreEdited May 2023, We visited for a second time for dinner on a Saturday. Service was still great but we felt there was a drop in the quality and presentation of the food so have lowered the rating accordingly. Calamari was chewy. Not much seafood in the linguini, needed a microscope to see the Mussels. Served in smallish white bowls. A little bit underwhelming now all things considered.
First review There were 3 of us having dinner on a Saturday night and pretty much had the place to ourselves apart from one other table. We had the fish and chips, orichiette with chicken and the seafood salad. All were fresh and absolutely delicious. Just as we were contemplating dessert, our waiter brought out a complimentary share plate of brownies and ice cream! Terrific hospitality and a very nice dining experience. Our only 2 recommendations for improvement are to turn down the lighting a little and a few more choices for...
