I love going to Cronulla Bianchini's and have for many years, today we thought we'd try Gymea's Bianchini's but were bitterly disappointed. While the coffee and the food were pretty good - the service was appalling. They weren't busy, they weren't under staffed, they were just slower than a sloth on sleeping pills - really unprofessional. Most of the tables were filthy when we arrived - my wife had to clean ours up. The water glasses had lipstick & asparagus still stuck on it, when my wife requested fresh ones she had to interrupt the only two waitresses in a side conversation to get some clean ones. She was then handed take-away coffee cups. When I stood at the counter to order food - one waitress ignored me and continued to unpack the dishwasher right in front of me. After 10mins of standing there - another waitress finally took my order - a couple of slices and a B&E roll. After waiting another 10mins - I went to the counter to ask for my pre-made slices which were still sitting in the window. I got one while my B. bread got put in to be toasted - as requested when I first ordered. After finishing my slice and seeing the other banana bread was being left under the grill, I again got up to the counter to rescue it. 30mins later my B&E roll had arrived and my company - who were in a rush - had left. Needless to say - this all soured our experience. We all have bad days, but in an area where there are close to a dozen other decent cafes - Bianchini's Gymea - you need...

$54 for breakfast for two. Including a surcharge for weekend service, even though the service was non existent. $20 for this tiny bacon and egg wrap. Riddled with extra charges for a wrap and hash browns, was given one single hash brown. Both meals overcooked, (eggs on both meals and fritters) tasteless and couldn’t be finished. The wrap was full of egg shell. No cutlery given with our meals, had to ask for them and when they were brought out the cutlery was filthy. $7 for an iced coffee, which was also tiny. The table next to us had iced coffees served in large glasses. When I asked why the coffee was so small compared to theirs the waiter said that’s just what you get. For $7?
I asked for an itemised receipt to see exactly what I paid for and mentioned that the breakfast was not up to par to the lady behind the counter. No question as to what was wrong or if anything could be fixed or improved, just “oh sorry” and nothing...

I mean what else does one do when it's raining and you're walking the streets of Gymea?
Bianchini's Expresso is a coffee shop I had long to visit, I only have ever walked past but never inside.
Today was that day and well the coffee was wonderful, I had a large Latte $6.00 as is my want. My mum had the extra hot cappuccino, small $5.00 . I must say the portion sizes were quite reasonable.
We enjoyed it so much that we had finished it all! Before I had a chance to take a picture. Two hours later and we are both still savouring the flavour of the coffee!
Damn I will be back.
There's always a great crowd early Saturday morning crowd, which is when I usually passed by.
Today being middle of the morning and people working, still there were plenty of people enjoying a cuppa at Bianchini's Espresso, 8/4 Warburton Street Gymea, that's Gymea 2227 NSW.
