Can't believe I've never read articles on my food filled Facebook feed about this cafe before! Like how could they not write about such cool spot in the Inner West? The space is so well designed I love the vibe, deco and high ceiling the moment I walked in. The food was well presented and I highly recommend the Sriracha Eggs & Crab if you like scrambled eggs with a bit of a twist! My corn fritters was a very generous portion and with plenty of goodies in it. I do wish it can be a bit more crispier with more "zucchinish" than "pancakeish" texture. But it's really down to personal preference I guess. Overall we loved our breakfast experience and we will definitely come back more often!!

While the place itself is nice, my experience was far from pleasant 😕. I ordered chorizo eggs and an almond latte, but the waiter mistook it and brought me a latte with regular milk, giving my correct order to my friend. The meal was disappointing. It tasted like yesterday's leftovers, with undercooked potatoes and an overwhelming mix of spices. My friend couldn't even finish her breakfast before a waiter swiftly took her plate away. Lol 🥲 Despite the beautiful Xmas decorations, the overall experience left much to be desired. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time. I've given this place a chance multiple times, and the vibe remains consistently disappointing.

Visited Black Toast for the first time and it's such a spacious cafe, definitely didn't see it coming from the entrance. Loved the open space and service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the flavours of the BT Wagyu burger, juicy and packed with lots of protein! The mushroom & cheese toastie was easy to eat and would be great for those who are on the go. Last but not least, the black sticky rice pudding was a light and refreshing dish. Meal portions were great, could share between 2 comfortably. Highly recommend if you're in the Annandale area :)

Great work! First time I’ve been here and honestly wish I’d come sooner I’ve lived around the area for a couple of years but some of that was the end of COVID and tbh there are so many cafes in the area that it’s tough to choose! Anyway, I got the French toast and my friend got the Eggs Benedict with salmon. Both were a visual masterpiece and tasted SO good - the French toast was not overly sweet (just the right amount!) and the salmon was great quality. Service was very good and very friendly. Well done, guys. Keep up the great work!
