I was there today with my disability support worker ( Abbie ) who ordered the Mediterranean bowl with the olives 🫒 on the side . I ordered The Red Velvet Hotcakes . I didn't order any drink although Abbie asked for a bottle of table water ( which we both would assume is free - neither of us would mind if it were priced at $1 per table ) . I also asked ( apart from my Hotcakes ) for my black plastic cup to be filled with ice cubes . There was nothing wrong with my Hotcakes or with the ice in my cup ( despite i would have liked my cup to be chilled in the freezer too ) - everything fine there . Abbie ( my disability supervising nurse ) noticed paprika in her meal . She's allergic to Paprika . Nothing fatal thankfully . We happily pay separately for our lunch everywhere we go - always . After Abbie paid for her order ( she told me she was charged the same price as on the menu and not for any water she had ) it came time for me to pay for my order ( happily ) I was charged $25.59 - On the menu the price for The Red Velvet Hotcakes is $22.90 . an extra $2.69 SHOULDN'T be the cost of the bankcard surcharge Or the cost of the ice cubes i asked for . Okay - So i brought a drink ( can 🥫) with me . I'm disabled and on the NDIS ♿ . It May surprise someone that i am Not wealthy myself Or related to Donald Trump Or Elon Musk . I've got a right as much as anyone to try to save money . I've noticed there's a running theme with the low star rating reviews - it not a coincidence . Greed and ill-consideration ISN'T the way to run a business ( when you want people coming back ) . There was NO price comparison of dine in vs takeaway of our orders . i Wouldn't be upset IF either of you ( two ) working there had approached me about my drink and been willing to fairly negotiate a total price i owe on the way out . There was NO sign anywhere in the cafe Or declaration on the menu that states that No outside food is to be consumed within the cafe Or that a surcharge will be charged for bringing it in . Will NOT be coming back . Particularly after the owner was rude to me for looking again at the menu to check if i had remembered the correct menu price . ( * I go by Sophia now - don't know how to change my account name on any internet accounts ) .

I didn’t know there was such a nice café in my neighborhood. On my way to the post office, I stopped by for an iced long black and was pleasantly surprised. When you walk in, there’s a passage that leads to a spacious area inside. In the middle, there’s a kitchen and a Christmas-themed photo zone, which made me think they’re really into Christmas. The friendly staff welcomed me and served me with good care. I had a hard time choosing between the homemade banana bread and the rhubarb apple crumble cake that I saw when I came in, but I decided to try the crumble cake today. Since it was such a hot day, I paired it with an iced long black, and as expected, sweet desserts and coffee never disappoint. (The crumble cake wasn’t overly sweet—it had a relatively healthy taste, which I liked.) The ceiling fan above kept the place cool, and I left feeling recharged. Next time, I’ll definitely come back to try the banana bread.

Can't believe I've never read articles on my food filled Facebook feed about this cafe before! Like how could they not write about such cool spot in the Inner West? The space is so well designed I love the vibe, deco and high ceiling the moment I walked in. The food was well presented and I highly recommend the Sriracha Eggs & Crab if you like scrambled eggs with a bit of a twist! My corn fritters was a very generous portion and with plenty of goodies in it. I do wish it can be a bit more crispier with more "zucchinish" than "pancakeish" texture. But it's really down to personal preference I guess. Overall we loved our breakfast experience and we will definitely come back more often!!

The staff here are really welcoming and full of smiles. They were great in offering recommendations and were great to chat with.

The food was superb. I had a crossaint on the first day and a black coffee. This was my first coffee in Australia as i am here visiting from the UK for the first time and my God was it a beautiful coffee.

The next day I had the big brekkie wrap with an iced macha and it was so good! Unlike most wraps in the UK it was full of fresh ingredients like avocado and spinach and the yoke was the right amount of runny to where I did not get it on myself.

There was a variety of options locally and I went In here as it seemed quieter and I am so glad I did as it really set my day off on a positive.

In addition to the place and it's staff, sitting outside offers many views of local dogs walking by and seeing the hustle and bustle of folk commuting to school and work. As a traveller I love seeing this sort of stuff as it gives you a sense of the locals day to day life.

Finally on my second visit they asked me if I was or related to Eddie Hall! Which was uplifting as he is in great shape albeit he is a big boy so thay was a nice compliment.

Shout outs to the staff bringing the friendly Bali vibes to Annadale. I...

I was exited trying this venue as it always looked inviting. My experience however wasn't the best. I ordered the lamb pie, was really dry and not flakey, I think it may have been in the window a little too long. The roast beef toasty was alright however was weird as to why they put lettuce in a toasty, as it doesn't really add any flavour, it just gets sogy and you end up eating sogy lettuce. Unfortunately found a hair in the toasty, I did notify the guy when I went to pay, his answer was "sorry about that". The coffees were ok. The staff dropped the food off, and I ended up having to go inside to ask for cutlery and napkins. When they drop the hot coffees and food they drop it right in front of my 20 month old sun. Which naturally wants to grab everything and touch the coffee. A little common sense would go a long way. Anyways I get home to realise that I was over charged on my Credit Card for my order. However kind of my fault for not checking prior to paying, However maybe reading out the order before setting payment, may have helped Limigate the issue. Don't see myself going back any time soon, or at least till...
