Very disappointed. I ordered the Tzimmy Chicken Pita via Ubereats, the only nice thing about it was the bread. It came cold, which I wouldn’t fault the restaurant for, but it wasn’t even slightly warm given that the delivery time was less than 15 minutes. The chicken genuinely tasted and looked as though it was taken from a woolies cooked chicken that was reheated. There were many unpleasant and chewy parts. I thought it would be seasoned but there was no flavour. Paprika and parsley, as advertised, were non existent. Doused in sauce and too many reheated soggy chips. Maybe it’s because I ordered within the half hour before they closed, but irrespective of that, I still think the standards should be maintained. I know they have a very good rating, and I don’t doubt that generally the food is very good at this spot, but the food I received was so far from...
Read moreFirst, let's set the scene. There's almost nearly nothing open for dinner in Annandale.
This is a chain. But it has seating and is open after 3pm, so it's winning a bit there.
Upsides: The food is decent. There are heaps of vegetarian options. And they seem to have (maybe) gotten over their opening growing pains and are pumping out orders more quickly.
They've scored an extra point now that GyG has discontinued their mushroom burritos.
Downsides: It's a bit pricey for what you're getting. For cheaper, you could get the most amazing bahn mi of your life next door (but obvs, only at lunch time). A 'Spartan' bowl starts at $22. It's a lot for what, at the end of the day, is mass-produced, okay food.
No interesting drink options, just canned sodas.
Head there in person, and you're also behind a massive queue of online and delivery orders.

Read moreSo this is my fifth visit to this Zeus and for me it’s just going down hill more and more in each visit.
Ordered Yia’s Yia’s chips with feta, they forget the feta.
Tonight, chips cold… the place was absolutely filthy…. A good five out of the six tables covered in rubbish. We didn’t dine in as a result.
The loyalty program: well about half the time the points aren’t credited to your account so no idea what’s going on there (they manually look you up when ordering in store).
The staff are super lovely… no issues there but it’s the little things that annoy me and are avoidable. I don’t mind spending the money however expect a good consistent product and experience for it.
I can now see why the new Yerros Shop around the corner is constantly busy.
Sorry Zeus,...
