Never tried any of the goods from the bakery, but I have been surprised by their range of Vietnamese food. I’ve tried their chicken and beef pho (not in pics), their wonton soup, rice paper rolls, and a few rolls (crackling pork and tofu). Their pho and wonton soups are okay, not the best I’ve had but still enjoyable (they seem to use the same broth for both the beef and chicken pho, which surprised me). Their rice paper rolls are also quite good. But the main thing I would recommend is their rolls: they are really tasty, and packed with veggies and meat!

Good local banh mi store with a range of toppings to choose from. I’ve heard good things about them so decided to pay a visit on Monday afternoon. I wanted the crackling pork but it sold out so got the lemongrass pork instead. The bread roll was packed with veggies and pickles, abundant of pork as well. However the pork itself was a bit dry and salty. I wish they could have sliced the meat thinner which makes it easier to bite down. $10.50 for a bread roll in Annandale - pricey but not bad at all. Cash and card are both accepted.

Their Chicken Lemongrass Banh Mi is better than Hong Ha in my opinion. The rolls are fresh and crisp, but soft inside. The meat has a lot of flavour and is high quality. And the salad is perfect too. All the ingredients of a great Banh Mi, and only $10. Super friendly staff too, and Family owned. At lunch time the line goes up the street. That’s how good they are. Even in the longest line it’s only been 10 mins though. They’re really quick.

Absolutely blessed to live within walking distance from this place.

I would consider myself a bit of a pork roll veteran. Including many consumed in the banh mi heartland of Cabramatta. This place can hold its own with the best of them. The traditional pork, bbq pork and crackling pork are all fantastic in their own right. And the crunch on the exterior combined with the fresh fluffy interior of the bread rolls is just excellent. Served promptly with a smile, what more can one ask for.

PLUS they have an excellent range of baked treats. All the usual “hot bread” shop suspects, but executed with a surprising amount of polish. Just a super strong establishment all round.

A great local place to...

Great bahn mi with great detail to ingredients. They have a decent pate to go on your roll. Pickled salad is on point! Great variety of meats available for everyone to enjoy. They do spring rolls and summer rolls as well.

The bread roll here is excellent. Crispy crust and great soft airy interior. For those bahn mi enthusiasts, you’d know that at times MPR in Illawarra Rd misses on the bread standard. I dare say the bread here is better. However! MPR still wins on flavour.

Worth a visit and whenever I am near Annandale and hungry, I will not hesitate...
