This local café is an absolute gem and has been my go to for the past 5 plus years —not just because of its convenient location, but because of the incredible experience it offers. The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with beautifully designed spaces that make it the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. It’s always impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in both the food and the surroundings is evident.

The menu offers high-quality, well-portioned dishes that are fresh, flavorful, and great value for the care that goes into them. The coffee is consistently smooth and rich—crafted by skilled baristas who clearly take pride in what they do.

But what truly makes this café special is the team behind it. The staff are the heart and soul of this place, creating a welcoming and community-driven space where everyone feels like family. Food, service and decoration was top notch! I have never been here and it was my 1st time. I choose this cafe/restaurant because of the reviews and location- was right in the middle for both sides of our families for my partner and I. I'm so glad I did as Chau the manager was so attentive, she let me know what was pregnancy friendly on the menu and also asked a lot of questions to help me get the menu right (my family had a lot of fussy eaters). I am pregnant and this was the 1st time our parents met and to reveal the gender of our baby. I wanted somewhere family friendly and not too noisy but had great modern food to enjoy, Blackbird and Co was perfect! The food was amazing for the price of only $40 per head (there was 10 of us), we got 8 courses and we still had left overs! We were also able to BYO our own champagne. Chau went to the trouble of decorating our table with beautiful flowers, candles, fairy lights and she even printed the menu of what I ordered so the guests could see which dish was coming next. AMAZING place for a private dinner event! From the start Chau and the team were so communicative, hospitable and welcoming. I booked the private room at the back for a friends hens night and could not be happier with this place. The service was incredible, the room and tables were designed with beautiful flowers and candles, and the banquet food was outstanding. All dietary requirements were catered for as requested. At $55pp for 2 entres, a main and dessert this was excellent value for money compared to anything else in Sydney. For $3pp extra it was byo, which made the evening affordable. The team let us arrive early to set up and helped clean up at the end. So glad I found this place and highly recommend it for private functions.
