21.12.24 ~7PM Walked in and there was 4 young people at the register/front of house area. All of them were looking at me as I was placing my order, it felt bizarre but whatever... Do the other 3 not taking my order have nothing to do?
Maybe they should spend more time cleaning and serving customers, because I found two seprate hairs on the plates & food I ordered. I found the first one on the bottom of my bowl of rice I ordered when I tipped it on top of my other plate of garlic beef I ordered. The other was on a set of unused plate/cutlery so it didn't impact my meal but did irritate me looking at it as I was eating. The hair in the bowl of rice looked like a thick dog hair. The other one a small hair from human arm/leg.
I took the bowl of rice with the dog hair stuck to the bottom back to the front of house staff and showed them. The girl working said ill take care of that, or something to that effect. I was expecting an apology and was waiting for a replacement bowl of rice for the next 40 or so minutes I spent in the restaurant. Also found it disappointing that we were never given a bottle of water and glasses as is standard in most restaurants. Also having ordered a Chinese tea and having only one small cup when two people there was not ideal either.

Have tried many of the items on the Yum Cha & lunch menus now and the Salt & Pepper Prawns are our favorite, followed closely by the Prawn Dumplings, Pork Spare Rib, and Pork Buns. It’s always been quiet in there each time we’ve visited, not sure why it isn’t busier as the food is delicious! Had to ask for chopsticks (we were originally given cutlery), soy sauce, and chili sauce from the waitstaff but that’s no big deal when the food has been great. Attempts to discuss this with the management failed. 2 phone calls last evening were stonewalled with 'He's a busy...ring back in 10 minutes' which I did unsuccessfully. A visit today evolved from 'I will get him' to 'He's not here.. .I will get him to ring you before 6' which he hasn't!
