Ori Cafe's culinary offerings are a tantalizing adventure for the taste buds. Their Sexy Salad is a vibrant mix of fresh greens, ripe tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and tangy feta cheese, all tossed in a zesty vinaigrette dressing. Each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures, leaving you feeling refreshed and satisfied. Accompanying this delectable dish are their perfectly seasoned Potato Wedges, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. However, my dining experience was slightly overshadowed by the unreasonable $2 charge for take-away containers, particularly considering they are made of cardboard. This pricing decision feels unjustified and detracts from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Coffee: While Ori Cafe's coffee offerings are undeniably exceptional, with expertly crafted brews that tantalize the taste buds.

My friend and I had coffee ☕️ and cakes here today while we were in Springwood area. The cakes and coffee were nice but they cost 'an arm and a leg' (paid more than $35 for just 2 small coffee and 2 small pieces of cakes) and my friend complained about the sewerage smell when we were sitting inside of the cafe, he also complained about the customer service while waiting to order the coffee and they were too busy chatting and laughing with each other rather than serving the customer.

I am keep coming back here because of the atmosphere and hoping to get a table in front of the fire place one day haha never succeeded. However slow booked lamb with pale ale beer or Shiraz is always my go to. I tried something else the other day but it was okay. Spare rib cooked very well but the sauce needs more richness somehow. Scooper price is getting higher?? $13.50

We went to the Ori for dinner with a bigger group one night and my partner found a dead cockroach in his salad. When informing the wait staff, they apologised and took his plate away without offering him a replacement. Seeing as this happened towards the end of the meal, we may have overlooked this error on their part, but the real slap in the face came when we walked up to the counter to settle our bill. The restaurant manager herself handed it to us and offered us a laughable 5 PERCENT OFF for the inconvenience. My partner and I were so stunned that we just paid and left – looking back now, we wish we had handled the situation differently. We have both worked in hospitality before and we get it, accidents happen – but the sheer lack of respect and customer service still baffles me to this day, especially from a place that offers pricier pub food like the Ori. I can only strongly discourage anyone from dining here; your money is best...

The Chicken schnitzel I had was delicious, good portion and quality. I have an issue with the surcharge for $3.50 for a tiny sauce. The pepper sauce is nice, just not $3.50 nice. The surcharge wasn’t listed on the menu either, at the time I dined. $26.50 with a sauce is fair pricing. $30 for a Schnitzel with sauce is not fair pricing.

I would also like to mention, the blonde waitress who was rather rude. The waitress in question at one point stated I did not have to get angry???

I was merely stating the surcharge for sauce wasn’t on the menu, I had said this in a matter of fact tone, without attitude or “getting angry” as the waitress had stated. Thanks to the head chef who understood my reasoning, there are people at the Ori cafe who know how to handle punters, and this man is one of them.

I won’t return, as I can get better food at a competitive pricing point. Also, whoever decided a $2 surcharge for a takeaway container, needs...

Reserved a table with heavy emphasis on use of wheelchair. At no time were details given as to access nor any signage from car park. My carer and myself felt we were a nuisance when confronted with steep stairs, locked accessible doors and unhelpful stares from staff while trying to negotiate the area into the restaurant. Any assistance was left to other patrons. Initially seated near open fire which was so appreciated given we were damp and very cold we were then moved to a table next to a constantly opening front door which only increased our discomfort. Food was just adequate (dry gristly ribs, miniscule pot of soup and smoked salmon on a mashed potato rosti(?)covered by salad leaves and shredded carrot and no dressing). Dessert was lack lustre and overcharged. Definitely not worth over $200. Table staff were pleasant and attentive serving our food in a...
