Overall, I had a nice experience and would definitely go again!

I went on a Sunday evening which had a moderate number of other customers but the vibes of the place was still mostly nice. What had attracted me to select Bondi Pizza that day over other restaurants was the fragrant smell of food waffling out as I was walking by. I liked the ambience created with the dimmed lighting, music and the aesthetics of the restaurant. It did get noisier as more people came in but we had mostly finished up by then so I cannot attest to how it would feel dining during a busier time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. In fact, the highlight for me was actually the mocktails. Although it is a humbly lengthed section on the drinks menu - the two options we got (Ms. Rose and Lychee Cooler) were both delightfully rich and balanced in flavours, whilst still being light and a great palette cleanser. I would absolutely order either one of these again. The Bondi Meat Supreme was thin, crispy and hot when it arrived. I particularly enjoyed the sauce on the pizza. The Chili Prawn Linguini was comparatively my least favourite compared to the rest of the meal - but at least it did not fall into the trap of the only palpable flavour being that of being chili and making chili the sole flavour characteristic that often occurs with other chili pastas. The prawns were cooked well and I enjoyed the tanginess that was also present. It was better than some prawn chili linguinis I have had in the past, but I personally prefer slightly richer dishes so I myself would be less likely to order it again. This is just a personal preference though - my dining companion that night who enjoys lighter flavours really liked the dish. Time for food and drinks to arrive also felt reasonable and everything arrived fresh and warm (or cold in the instance of drinks).

Service staff were very warm (shoutout to Vanessa!) and helped solidify the experience...

Short version: Very salty food, small portions and long wait but good customer service.

Went to the Macquarie center branch to use my birthday voucher, there were two of us for lunch.

Had the salt and pepper calamari and chicken pesto rigatoni. Took 20 minutes for the calamari to arrive and there were only 8 pieces! Long wait for such a small starter! Calamari was very, very, salty but at least not greasy or tough.

Pasta took another 10 minutes to arrive, so half an hour! Thank goodness we weren't very hungry. Unfortunately the pasta again was very salty but the calamari was more salty, so we ate the calamari with the pasta. Grilled chicken was a bit dry, like the other said, their grilled chicken seems consistently dry, same as the chicken in Chicken and bacon pasta I had before.

Customer service was great but not the best tasting food. Left me thirsty but I could only drink so much water, and I filled up on water. Not the first time I ate at Bondi Pizza, and previous food (pizza) was also very salty, particularly the salmon one, made worse since the pizza base is very thin and leaves you hungry AND thirsty. Portion size is very small, I am very petite and I can finish the pasta by myself when I am hungry. The starter calamari was so small it was more like a taster than a starter and would have been a one person snack if it wasn't so salty, but a very expensive snack at $14! Their chocolate scrolls are also very, very small both in size and quantity, and not actually suitable for sharing. All their food is expensive for the size. Wouldn't have gone if it weren't for the fact we were shopping in the center, wanted lunch and I happened to have a birthday voucher. Won't be going there voluntarily again unless there was...

Went for a dinner last night (30/08/2023). We were actually quite disappointed with the service at first—were only told to use the QR code to order by ourselves, given empty glasses without any water. We understood it could be because the lady who served us at first forgot what she was meant to do after being interrupted by an incident around(a boy fell from his chair), but it was still disappointing compared to our past dining experience at other Bondi Pizza. This was the first time we visited Macquarie branch but we have always been treated very well at other Bondi Pizza shops.

And this friendly young girl, Khin(?) showed up to save our dinner experience. We had some trouble using the qrcode ordering so we were looking for staff to help us. Khin was the only one who noticed us and she helped us out very quickly with a friendly smile. She also brought the missing water bottle to us. She deserves 5 stars.

The food was great. We ordered the prawn pizza and chicken, mushroom & bacon linguine and they were both very delicious and matched each other. I love the texture of the pasta.

In terms of atmosphere, I have some personal opinions which may not be applicable to everyone. Firstly, I was a bit annoyed by the table they gave us. It was right in the middle of the shop and the food court area and I personally found the difference of lighting quite disturbing. Also, the person who sit right behind me accidentally knocked me for a few times so I had to move my chair towards my table twice. When we arrived, the shop wasn’t very busy and the inner area was basically empty. They could have spread people out (when the Bondi store still existed, the staff there tended to do so) but they...

Came in for the $30 bottomless wings deal and was pleasantly surprised by the service. Servers were friendly, enthusiastic, and were personable. Unfortunately, the wings were dry/mildly leathery and not particularly enjoyable - if it were a normal dining situation I probably wouldn't have finished the basket. The ratio of drummettes was much higher than wingettes, which wasn't great since they were considerably drier. However, in the spirit of AYCE we pushed through in a quest to try as many flavours as we could. I would recommend the wings with creamy sauces as it compensates for how dry the wings are (the garlic parmesan has a notably buttery sauce!). The fries had Maccas vibes. After smashing through 34 wings, I'm still not sure if it was worth it. Getting through the dry rub wings was an active chore necessary to order better wings, as you're only allowed to order a new basket once your current one is finished. In summary, I wouldn't recommend the bottomless wings on the principle of quality over quantity, but it could have been a 10/10 if the wings were up to par.
