i have been here three times, and every time, there is always something wrong. The first time I came, half of our food arrived, but the other half (two toasted croissants) didnāt come at all. We had to inform the staff, and although they kindly apologized, it took 10 minutes to get the missing items. The fresh juices taste unpleasantāthe mango smoothie just tastes like condensed milk with frozen mango, and the watermelon they use is always bitter and not sweet. Their breakfasts are extremely overpriced, with one plate costing $30. The restaurant has a moderately nice atmosphere, but the music does not enhance it and often becomes distracting. Changing the music would definitely improve the overall vibe. Some of their lattes, like the chai latte, are overly sweet because they use a packet mix, and at times, they taste bitter. Their banana bread is incredibly dryāso much so that I couldnāt enjoy it, even with butter. The dryness completely overshadowed the flavor. On the positive side, their avocado toast is amazing; itās honestly my favourite item on the menu. Their coffees are also...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk walked to the counter and the girl didn't bother looking at me whilst giving a 'Yes'? In a lack luster, can't be really bothered to look in my direction. No good morning, hello, how are you nothing... not a good first impression and a way to get me to come back.
I found a free table, but was still cluttered from last customer and a wee while later was cleared. I asked the young lady who was cleaning table if there was wifi available and she simple said No and walked away. The breakfast was average as was coffee the breakfast plate was cold, for $26 I expect a hot plate for my food. Guys in this day and age perhaps think about customer service - a smile and a good Morning goes a long way, even in peek times. Free wifi for not only gen Y, but us baby boomers please it's the norm !! Finally do something about the dam flies, no excuse there are ways to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSome of the worst bread and pastries Iāve ever had. I walked in at 8:15 in the morning, excited for some fresh sourdough bread. I couldnāt actually smell any bread so I asked if the loaves were fresh from this morning or if they were yesterdayās bread. Staff swore they were fresh baked this morning. So I got a loaf plus one pastry. The apple danish was soggy and clearly had not been baked within the past 24 hours. The bread was rock hard ā and not in a good, chewy way; in a stale way ā and tasteless. Itās literally the worst bread Iāve had in a year. And it was over $9. Woolworths bread is 2/3rd the price and fresher and better. Absolute waste of money. Staff were friendly but I have to give them 1 star for lying about the freshness of...
