The Grind House Drummoyne — Restaurant in Sydney

I love this place. This has become one of my places to go + order from on uber eats. The staff are super welcoming and friendly and always remember me. The barista remembers me the most and he’s the most lively. The inside is cosy but the decor definitely reminds me of Indonesian cafes. I love their portions and decent price too. I like that they also have seats outside - good touch given there isnt anything up that end of Lyon’s road and they’re open on public holidays. Ive tried almost everything on their menu. My faves are the Eggs Your Way which gives you a choice of scrambled, fried or poached eggs which i order bacon, spinach and avocado on the side. The spinach scrambled bacon wrap, the choc coconut banana bread, pulled chicken salad and the bacon and eggs are my go to items to order. Thanks guys - happy that this...

I've only been here for coffee which isn't bad. The staff are friendly but I did notice the barista's fingernails. I'm not sure if it was coffee grounds underneath them or dirt, either way it made me question their hygiene and put me off going there.

Hi there,

I can appreciate you defending your business and understand that hands and fingers can easily get stained by coffee during peak periods. However, I've been around many (busy) cafes in Sydney that also specialise in filter coffee. Their barista's have their nails cut short to help prevent this from happening.

I normally do not write reviews however I am here as I am impressed with the service and quality of food. As COVID happened we wanted to support local business and ordered their breakfast. It was delicious so we continued every weekend. This week I requested a portion of spinach to a bacon wrap I ordered indicating I would pay for it at collection as they did not have an option of adding this to my order on their Facebook page.

Not knowing if this request was processed, I collected my order and totally forgot about this and the staff had a portion of spinach in my order and never highlight this to me to pay when I collected my order.
