The end of 2023 saw the uproar in the great debate of Sydney's BEST CHARGRILL Chook [chicken] Roaster. The criteria is a lot simpler than the zeitgeist of food media would have you believe: - Cook quality - Flavour - Value - Sides - Chips/"chups", specifically - Shop vibe/story - Signature sauce (this is a massive segment of the judging criteria) Although the argument divides a fault line, 2 bridges and 3 motorways, at the end of the day it's all delicious and especially if you grew up in Sydney, you'll likely pledge allegiance to what you were raised with. For newbies, there's a sprinkling X factor to every shop but in more recent times and having some time away from the city, the separation from my rose tinting has been able to refresh the palette and perk up the curiosity. In recent years—since COVID 19—I've frequented this Chook Shop-styled Churrascarria. A hidden gem in the nooks of the new Zetlands area development, this Brazillian butchery, Bodega and takeout shop sears lamb, pork, cow and chicken, all with simple, classic sides from the cuisine—black bean stew, crumbed rice balls, Salsa Verde, and of course, chips dusted in paprika spice. It satisfies all the above criteria even if not /strictly/ a whole chook roaster. The result is a convenient and feastworthy assortment of food and flavours balancing salt, fat and acid to appropriately represent the food culture of this South American nation, without any compromising faux pass or exorbitant price tag of the Churrascarrias of old (All You Can Eat fare). The meat is super tender and juicy, the chorizo is an absolute must as is the Fejoada special which only appears on weekends. The sauce is easily a 10. A smooth and slightly creamy paprika heavy sauce is incredibly moreish. Recommendation: buy extra tubs. Bring a friend and find a spot to snooze under a tree after you both chow down. As they say, when in Rome/Sao Paolo...

50th Birthday Celebration Made Unforgettable by Brazilian Flame I recently celebrated my 50th birthday and entrusted Brazilian Flame to cater the event—and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and genuinely impressive. Team Excellence: The crew was not only punctual and well-organized, but also warm, engaging, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their presence elevated the atmosphere without ever being intrusive. Sensational Food: Every dish was a masterclass in authentic Brazilian BBQ. The flavours were bold, the meats perfectly grilled, and the presentation spot-on. Guests are still raving about the picanha! Great Value: For the quality of food and service delivered, the cost was more than reasonable. It felt like a premium experience without the premium price tag. Flawless Execution: Setup, service, and pack-down were handled with precision and care. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—Brazilian Flame ran the show like clockwork. If you're looking for catering that combines flavour, flair, and flawless execution, Brazilian Flame is the team to call. They helped turn a milestone celebration into a truly memorable experience.

Love this place - so does everyone else with tastebuds it seems. Thought I had written a review previously, alas I haven’t and I don’t think they really need it based on number of 5 star reviews. The meat these guys cook is the second best. I haven’t found the best yet. Not only do they cook and serve on the spot, they also have fresh meat cabinet for you to select from, take home and challenge yourself. There is also a good selection of drinks and groceries also with good Brazilian range. Mine and the missus go to is the meat loaded fries. 200g meat is enough for one. Chicken is my go to though the chorizo is equally as good. The smoke mayo is a must. !! I have bought the picanha and sausage and taken home to cook. So good. Everything on the menu is amazing. Try it all. You will be back once you’ve been. !!! Downsides - always busy (because it’s awesome). Wait time not long though even at busiest time. - closes early some days. I assume it’s because they do so well all day. Why work later ?? Penalty rates could come into play ?? Either that or they are at home counting there $$$ from a rocking business. - sometimes so busy they don’t need and close Uber eats. Try it. You won’t regret.

Very Disappointed am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with my recent food order from your esteemed restaurant. I placed an order and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in several regards.

Firstly, I received the order without any napkins or forks. This omission made the entire dining experience inconvenient and messy. It is essential to provide such basic utensils and essentials for customers, especially when they include them in their food deliveries.

Furthermore, to my dismay, I discovered a paper in my order that mentioned several items were sold out. This lack of communication about the unavailability of certain dishes caused great inconvenience and frustration. Proper order management and communication are crucial aspects of ensuring a seamless experience for your customers.

I must say that such shortcomings have left a rather sour taste in my mouth. As a loyal customer, I have always esteemed your restaurant for its quality, timely service, and excellent customer satisfaction. However, this recent experience has failed to meet those high standards, leaving me feeling disappointed and let down.

I kindly request your immediate attention in addressing this matter to rectify the issue and restore my faith in your establishment. I believe that a restaurant of your caliber should strive for excellence in every aspect, including customer service and fulfillment of orders.

I kindly request the following steps be taken to resolve this issue:

Delivery of the missing napkins and forks to my address at the earliest convenience. A written apology for the oversight and inconvenience caused. Transparency and timely communication regarding the availability of menu items in the future, to avoid further disappointments.

I would be willing to reconsider my opinion of your restaurant if prompt action is taken to address this matter promptly and adequately. I do believe in giving establishments a chance to rectify their mistakes and maintain their reputation for excellent service.

I would appreciate a timely response within the next [specified timeframe] to discuss further steps regarding this complaint. Should we fail to reach a satisfactory resolution, I regret to say that I may need to reevaluate my future patronage to your restaurant.

I felt bad after I called and mentioned this issue with Uber eats. And the bag without nabkin and folks this with Uber...
