Draft Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Sydney

The layout is actually ridiculous. No tables in a cafe? Why? I get that hipster cafes are all the rage right now (and I love most of them, to be honest), but this one has zero practicality. I ordered bruchetta, but I received a stacked cos lettuce salad on a bed of sourdough bread. The lack of tables meant I had to eat this stupid dish from a stool, lower than the bench I was seated on. Of course, this meant food went everywhere and it was impossible to eat. It was impractical and not very tasty. I actually gave up half way through, because it was too hard to eat and the bland taste was not worth the effort. I've never bothered rating a place on Google reviews unless my experience was flawless and really deserved a 5 (there have been a few), until now. Don't come here. It's seriously terrible.

The coffee was average, and I considered a 2-star rating for the coffee. But it wasn't really anything worth scaling...

bright space, industrial feel serving coffee, Toasties and small cakes. It's a coffee roaster and as such have their own beans and coffee equipment for sale. I ordered a latte, smooth, delicious coffee with coffee art, so that impressed me. I also needed a bit of brekkie so I got the takeaway granola topped with yoghurt, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. It was fresh and tasty and I really enjoyed it. I also ordered a cake; chocolate and mint. Beautifully presented, fluffy and a great little treat for morning tea. They also serve muffins, toasted sandwiches, etc. Staff were super nice and welcoming. Hard to find a park nearby, but...

I understand that hairs can fall in to food and it not a big deal, it happens. Found this super long black hair in my food 3/4 in to the meal, stopped eating and displayed the hair to show the staff. The waitress came to clear my plate and I very nicely said that I just wanted to let them know I found this in my food. No apology at all. I thought maybe she didnt hear. After waiting 30 minutes I asked if she had heard me say there was a hair and her response was simply "yes." I had to say myself, you did not even apologise once and then had to ask for an apology. Got a very weak sorry and...
