Burger Point Edmondson Park — Restaurant in Sydney

My overall experience from beginning to end was frustrating and horrible. From poor communication from point of service from the front of house they simply could not be able to take our order with some slight customisations to the burgers. My patients were wearing thin and I was about to pull the plug and leave, but I was persistent on trying to get the message across to this person. I was in the mood for a burger and a shake. as I ordered my meal she tells me “let me double check if we’re making milkshakes today” and she returns tells me that “there was no shakes available” so I settled for a bottle of water, but as I was walking to my table, I see a waitress walk out with two milkshakes, and then I questioned her about it “what’s that??” I said. She responds with “milkshakes!“. So I said “why are you telling me you’re not serving milkshakes but then you’re currently serving milkshakes??” With the absolute dumb look on her face I reapproached the counter, cut in front of all the customers that are waiting to proceed to order my milkshake. Where to begin? Burger Point is unlike any other burger place I've been to, from the lovely customer service to the exceptional food! Already from the beginning, the guy who served me was incredibly welcoming - he helped me to choose what to have since there was too many on the menu that looked good! The inside of the restaurant is reminiscent of a cute lil milkbar, with really cute designs and spacious seating! I ended up ordering a Marvin Glaze - their signature burger. WHO KNEW GLAZED BURGER BUN KRISPY KREME STYLE WITH A MEAT PATTY WOULD TASTE SO GOOD!! One of the best burgers I've EVER had! (and trust me - I've been to America). For the price, it was a VERY generous size and serving, and their purple dulce is A MUST HAVE!! The staff were very attentive, making sure we were taken care off! And very genuine and friendly - you could tell they were genuinely happy to be working! This is hospitality as it deserves to be - welcoming, genuine, authentic, with food made with genuine love. 100% recommend this to any burger or foodie lover in general. Will definitely be bringing my family, friends along...

⭐️⭐️ Disappointing Experience at Burger Point Edmondson Park

The menu was quite confusing, and the overall branding didn’t make sense — why are noodles and rice being served at a burger place? The concept felt all over the place.

Our food came out at different times. The burgers arrived first, and I was nearly done eating by the time the chips came out — only after we asked for them. I was hoping to enjoy my chips with the burger.

The cheese fries were also a letdown — the cheese sauce was so watery, it tasted like it had been diluted with milk to cut costs.

We ordered the kids’ chicken meal, and it was very dry. My child wouldn’t eat it — the marination was odd and the flavour was hard to understand.

Staff seemed confused and uncoordinated. Every time we asked about our order, we were told “it’s on the way.” With proper service, food should come out at the same time.

On top of that, the price was over the top for such a simple burger. The quality just didn’t match the cost at all.
