Lovely spot in a gorgeous location. Stumbled across it, passing through. Busy, warm public holiday but young female staff were doing a fantastic job. Friendly, polite, helpful. Service was fast. The male (presumably the owner / Manager) was a blip on what would have been a perfect visit. When we arrived all tables were full. We were only ordering coffees, frappes, cakes so we thought no problem, we will grab a takeaway. Per chance while we were waiting on food, a small table opened up so we grabbed it. 4 of us, around a 2 person table. The entire time we sat eating / drinking (maybe 10 mins), this male tried to move us on. “Are you waiting on food?” No mate. We were eating it. He kept hovering, returning before finally telling us (while we were still consuming our drinks) that takeaway orders would be called “over there.” Huh? I might point out we spent over $50 for that 10 mins we sat at his tiny table. When we passed by on our way out there were multiple parties of 2 taking up tables of 4-6. Hoping they ordered enough to keep him happy. Thinks girls for being a shining beacon of light in what would otherwise have been a completely unwelcoming visit. Coffees etc were...

Extremely disappointing .
Great venue. New premises. Relaxed atmosphere .
Looking forward to enjoying lunch and a cup of coffee.
Coffee was expensive. There are many family owned well established cafes in exclusive positions with high rents who pay their staff fairly and still charge a reasonable price for extremely great coffee.
Had fish and chips and my friend had calamari. Paid $8 extra for a piece of fish which I thought was good value.
Meals came-- two boxes - loaded with chips and a few slithers of fish. An extra $8 for an extra slither of fish. Outrageous. The other box was loaded with chips and 6 pieces of calamari. Basically, paying for boxes of chips. Exorbitant.
Over promises, under delivers and...
