Hornsby Park — Attraction in Sydney

Attended a Jazz day, supposed to be at Lisgar

Gardens, but moved due to wet grounds. The small

park in front of the pool isn't flat ground, but we

found a reasonable place.

We liked Sophisticated Ja. They would have been

much better if they had done an if front of crowd

sound check first with their microphones, as we

couldn't hear them clearly, one in blue particularly.

because it spoiled their harmonies and her solo

parts. as they were quite good.

BEST ON THE DAY was Barker College Middle

School Jazz Orchestra, they were so much better

than...

Lovely park in a great location. Only improvement I would suggest is for the park to be fully enclosed. The park has multiple levels sloping down the hill with the swings at the bottom which look out over a gully. It would be reassuring to parents knowing kids were safety fenced in the park without them worrying the kids could slip down into the gully or dash out...

The park landscaping is simple yet beautiful, the community pool centre is also well-maintained, the prices for the canteen in the centre is a little over-priced. Unfortunately due to the rain, it was near impossible to walk anywhere other than the small footpath as a step on the grass lead to your step...
