I recently visited Jolly Café in Leichardt and had a delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing coffee break or a casual meal with friends. The décor is charming, with a cozy and rustic vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a great selection of food and beverages. I tried their cappuccino, which was expertly crafted with a rich, smooth flavor. Their lamb chops are delightful and the chile cheese and honey bread is amazing. The food was 10/10, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about providing a good experience. They were quick to take my order and brought everything out promptly. Overall, Jolly Café is a gem in Leichardt. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a place to catch up with friends/family over a delicious meal, this place won't disappoint. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon.

In a world (at least a city) where there are plentiful options for getting a 'burger' none is so true to the form as the Jolly Burger from Cafe Jolly. This review is going to focus purely on the burger. Why? because I could write a small novel on the burger alone. There are many other places that attempt the Burger. They have milk or brioche buns, they have all manner of meat patties and topped with exotic sauces and other concoctions. Those other places have forgotten (or didn't know) what a real burger is. No need for any of that fancy and distracting options. Follow Cafe Jolly with their burger. Egg, beetroot, lettuce, generous meat patty, cheese .. the ingredients go on. Don't try to reproduce this - just try the burger, you won't be disappointed. Bring a friend to share the experience. And, they have other food as well .. maybe, one day, I'll try something else.

I really missed this place! I got the caesar salad and asked for some rocket mixed in with the lettuce, it was so delicious! They make their own caesar dressing and their parmesan cheese was bomb! There wasnt much bacon but the juicy piece of chicken made up for it, meat to leaf ratio was impressive. I dont think i breathed whilst eating this and went on to try my best to recreate it at home on the same day. Thanks for the delicious food and friendly service cafe jolly🙏🏼👌🏼 i will definitely be back!

Been coming at this resto for lunch and service has always been friendly. I usually order the Spaghetti Bella Vista, massive and really tastes good! Recently, I ordered the Agnello and the meat was so tender and flavourful. Just wasn’t a big fan of the taste of its sauce but still it was good! My other favourites are salt and pepper calamari and salmon caesar salad, they’re just so good and mouth-watering! You gotta try their chilli, too. And you gotta try their gelato for dessert, so good!

A well portioned average fettucini carbonara. It was a three star carbonara. I can still taste the pasta through the sauce, the shallots/spring onion punches through everything else with overzealous zest and acidity. There is no cheese, no cream, it's just pasta, mushroom, bacon and weak sauce. No individualism it only tastes like the ingredients list of a fettucini carbonara.I found the flavour a bit lacking and a bit plain, however good portion size which filled me up.

If you’re looking for a local haunt where they know your name and recognise you when you walk in this is it. Annie and Kenny are institutions in their own right. The new premise is bright and airy and the food is like a warm hug on a hard day. It’s comfort food, it’s not about fancy plating or following trends, it’s about producing nourishing warm food that makes you feel like you’ve finally come home. This place is like family.
