My wife and I walk past this place all the time, but have never tried it out. With everything going on at the moment, we thought we’d try something new to support our local businesses. So glad we did. There was definitely a cool laidback vibe to the place, and we were greeted to really friendly and attentive service. All the dishes we ordered were well presented, well seasoned and surprisingly one of the better tasting Indian restaurants I’ve tried. We had the onion rings, cigars, fish tikka and spinach chaat for starters, and all were delicious, well spiced and sizes were quite generous. For mains we had one of the chicken curry house specials (forgot the name!) With the garlic naan. Curry had just the right amount of spice and was a great way to finish off the meal (although we totally over ordered) Happy we found this little gem in our neighbourhood, and we will definitely be back.

Went to this tiny place for our anniversary. With my kids off course. I ordered Malai Prawn, Tandori Full, Khan Kalai Chicken, Eggplant Curry ( it think it was Called Bari2..not sure), some garlic Cheese Naan and Safron Rice. They are so good. I am fussy when it comes to food. Cos we can cook at home and we make authentic dishes. I usually add either Salt or something else .. but this time. Didn't have to do any of that. The prawn was cooked to perfection..Love them. The prices are on the high side. Off course .. Place is tiny, but clean and accommodating Their spicy level..is not spicy at all. So if you like spicy.. ask them you want Indian spicy k! Waiters are not that welcoming from my point of view.. 1 person was way too serious.. I was a bit scared of her honestly. The other was soo timid. I think she was super scared with the other one.. 🤣

We ordered two dishes with side. We had the first one 40 mins later after the order. And we were waiting the rest of the food paitently til receiving the food to the next our table. They were obviously ordered thier food later than us alleast 20 mins. This happens later, we asked the waitress our food and then she said that " its coming". We got our final food after 1 hour and half later from my order. It's too much time wasting for one food. We heard that people who sit the next table complained the food was not coming. It seems like that they got the food that we ordered after their complaints before us. The waitess should be aware of the food order eventhough other table compalined it. We visited third time so far. It was definitely worst experience compared to the preivous.

Yummy curry because very risch and delicious! I give this place 5 out of 5 stars, or even 6 if I could! First of all, the food is AMAZING, like so good that I was already thinking about my next visit while I was still eating. The butter chicken is super creamy and tasty, and the sauce is like warm, orange gold — I could drink it with a straw (but I didn’t, don’t worry). The chicken was soft and juicy and just melted in my mouth. I’ve never had chicken that good before and I’ve eaten a lot of chicken.

The rice was perfect, fluffy, not soggy or sticky, just right. It soaked up the sauce like a sponge and made every bite even better. The garlic naan bread? Oh man. It was soft and chewy and buttery and had this crispy edge that made me go “YUM” out loud. I tore off big chunks and dipped them in the curry like a pro. I could’ve eaten ten pieces of that naan, no joke.

The mango lassi was also so good, cold and sweet and creamy and tasted like mango clouds. It was thick but not too thick, just perfect. I had to stop myself from slurping the whole thing in 2 seconds. My friend had the lamb rogan josh and he said it was amazing and full of flavor, not dry at all. He kept saying “Bro try this, try this,” and I was like “Dude I’m busy in butter chicken heaven.”

Now the place itself? SO NICE. It was decorated so cool, like it felt like I was in a fancy Indian palace or something. There were beautiful patterns on the walls, and little lantern lights hanging from the ceiling that made it feel all cozy and magical. And the plates and cups were all shiny and clean, like really clean, not like some restaurants where you feel like maybe the spoon isn’t fully washed. These ones were like ✨sparkly✨.

The staff were super kind and friendly! As soon as we walked in, the guy at the front smiled and welcomed us and showed us to a nice table by the window. He brought us menus and water right away and said “Please take your time” in a calm, polite voice. Not like rushed or grumpy like in some places. The server who took our order was really helpful too — he explained what some of the dishes were when we didn’t know, and even helped us choose something not too spicy since my little sister can’t handle hot stuff. They were patient and seemed like they really cared that we were happy and enjoying everything.

Even when the place got busier later, they didn’t forget us or ignore our table. They still came to check if we needed anything and cleared plates quickly without being annoying. Just really good service overall.

Also! The place smelled SO GOOD. As soon as we walked in, it was like bam! Spices, curry, fresh naan — all the smells just hit you in the best way. It made me hungrier than I already was. I wish I could make my room smell like that.

I also liked that they had vegetarian options for my cousin, who doesn’t eat meat. She got the paneer tikka masala and she said it was creamy and spicy in the best way. It looked really good too — big chunks of paneer and this thick red sauce that looked like it was made by chefs from a secret temple of flavor or something. She kept saying “OMG” after every bite, so that’s a win.

The portions were big too! We had leftovers and took them home and it still tasted awesome the next day. The curry actually tasted even better the next day somehow. I don’t know how that works but I’m not complaining. I wish I could take the whole kitchen home with me.

Another thing — the place was really clean. Like the tables, the floors, even the bathroom was really clean and didn’t smell weird. That’s always a big deal for me. A clean bathroom means the people care, and that made me trust the food even more.

Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of places that try to do Indian food but this one felt the most real. Like not just random curry thrown together, but like actual proper food made with care and love. You can taste the difference. Every bite had layers of flavor and spices that made my tongue dance. It wasn’t just spicy for the sake of being spicy — it had actual flavor,...

Food is great and flavourful, except for the lamb which was quite chewy, they did replace the first serving but the problem remained. THE BIGGER PROBLEM IS - they don’t really know the definition of good customer service.. 15 minutes before their closing time, they closed the kitchen without confirming if we required any deserts.. The restaurant management seems to have not so welcoming attitude. Based on our experience, it felt they are only interested in attending their mates and family (or regular customers) rather than first time visitors.. They may have a good name in the market, but I feel they are getting distracted from the basics of good hospitality.

EDIT TO OWNERS RESPONSE : ATLEAST ONCE TRY AND ACCEPT SOME CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK... THIS IS FOR YOUR BUSINESS’S BENEFIT..I LOOKED AT OTHER REVIEWS AND IT SEEMS YOU GUYS ARE JUST NOT READY TO ACCEPT ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT - THIS IS NOT THE WAY YOU RUN THE BUSINESS MATE..

YOUR STAFF ASKED IF WE NEED EXTRA BREADS AT 9.20 PM (WE SAID NO, LATER AT 9.30 PM WHEN WE FINISHED OUR MAIN COURSE - AND WE ASKED FOR THE DESSERTS - YOU MENTIONED KITCHEN IS CLOSED ( 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR CLOSING TIME).. REALLY! WATCH OUT GUYS!

BY THE WAY WE ACKNOWLEDGED THE FOOD BECAUSE IT WAS GOOD AND MATE YOU ARE DEBATING ON LAMB - DIDN’T YOU SEE ALL THE STONE HARD LAMB PEICES WERE INTACT IN THE PLATE - YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT WHEN THE DISH ARRIVES - EVERYONE ON TABLE TAKES THE SERVING WITHOUT KNOWING IT WOULD TURN OUT TO BE OF THAT BAD QUALITY - AGAIN WE JUST GAVE YOU THAT FEEDBACK AND DIDN’T ASK FOR ANY REPLACEMENT - GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT..

REGARDING BUTTER CHICKEN, YOU ARE AGAIN NOT REALISING AT THE VERY START WE REQUESTED EARLY SERVING OF METHI CHICKEN (NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SPICED) AND RICE - WE ORDERED FOR THE KIDS, BUT YOUR TEAM DIDN’T BOTHER TO SHOW ANY CONSIDERATION UNTIL WE ASKED THE SECOND TIME AND YOU GUYS REALISED YOUR MISTAKE AND HAD TO SERVE WHATEVER WAS AVAILABLE IN THE KITCHEN..

I GAVE YOUR BUSINESS TWO STARS JUST BECAUSE OF THE FOOD ( ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS THOUGH), I JUST FEEL SORRY FOR THE GREAT CHEFS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH A POOR MANAGEMENT!!

I HAD A LOT OF OTHERS THINGS TO MENTION INITIALLY, BUT I DIDN’T WRITE HERE JUST BECAUSE OF SOME DECENCY.. ANYWAYS, I CAN’T GO ANY LOWER , THAT YOU HAVE REACHED BY MAKING OTHER FALSE CLAIMS.. TAKE CARE...

I love curry. I eat it all the time. I understand curry. I know when its good. I know when its bad. So believe me when this place served a disappointing meal.

Kachumber salad - it was advertised as having tomatoes but they made it with carrots instead? They said that's just how it is. Also $7+ for something that costs $2.

Goat curry - goat meat itself was ok but the spices lacked depth of flavour. Serving size was a bit small.

Spiked mango lassi - barely tasted the alcohol.

The tap beer was also not filled up to the brim as it should be, was only like 70pct. Are they seriously trying to save pennies like this?

I also had a spinach curry and a eggplant curry. Both were ok, but only food court level quality. Not worth the $25 per dish.

Service was slow, seems like they were understaffed and inexperienced

I also need to call it out, but they are doing a promotion where they are offering a 5pct discounts to those customers giving them a positive review.

In summary, i would not eat here again as terrible value for money. I paid almost $100 for three dishes that were on the same level as food court curry. Got scammed by the high rating on google again :(

TLDR: Do...
