Service is fast and super-friendly, nice decor and a compact yet comfortable seating area. A nice and relaxing place to enjoy a meal.

I ordered a small flat-white coffee, a cheese and ham toastie, and a serving of mixed-berry waffles. The coffee and toastie were on my table a few minutes after I was seated, the waffles arrived moments later.

The coffee was just how I like it, the toastie was delicious, I could really taste the cheese. The waffles were next-level, these were nice and soft, the berries were fresh and tangy, also included were small yet adequate amounts of icecream, syrup, and chocolate sauce to add as desired.

All of this for the modest sum of $21.00, very good value for a dine-in meal these days....

The coffee wasn’t warm at all, for both my cup and my friend’s, and it wasn’t even lukewarm. I thought about asking for a new one but ended up just drinking it.

I first visited this long-standing Lidcombe café around 2013, and it’s impressive that you’ve kept it running all these years. That’s why I’m leaving this review, hoping it helps.

Other locations using the same good beans make great coffee, but here, the coffee tasted disappointing despite the quality beans. I hope you can pay a bit more attention to each cup so this café can continue to be a place people love for...

Context: My father in law came to get me a coffee, he's not very agile on his feet but he was super sweet for getting me a large latte. He mentions this is his favourite coffee spot.

Review: 0 stars. The coffee I received at 9.30am on the 9/9/2024 was LUKE warm, was BITTER, was WATERY. An ABSOLUTE SHAME to have such coffee from a franchise I personally go to. And the difference? My father in law ordered this for me.

Final thoughts: I will not be ordering from this place ever again. And I am UTTERLY dissapointed in the quality in which my father in law got. The treatment...

The service here was friendly and helpful but the food really does takeaway from the overall experience. The food isn’t too expensive so we don’t feel overcharged but the quality was lacking. The bagel we had seemed odd as there wasn’t even a hole in it and tasted average. The eggs Benedict dish surprised us we could only choose either ham, bacon or mushrooms. I opted for mushrooms and got one sliced in half. Pretty weak serving however the bingsoo was decent.

I gave a high score because they were quick to greet/acknowledge I'd walked in, prompt service, listened attentively, food was at a good price, I ordered the chicken avocado toasted sandwich which was $8 and I thought a good price. It wasn't huge but I was filled after finishing it. They seemed to have a good range of menu options, the place was clean and they had a power point available for changing as well as lemon flavoured water near the seating area.
