Cali Press Bondi Junction — Restaurant in Sydney

Cali press is one of my favorite places to go for a healthy quick pick me up.

I’ve never had any issues at any other of the locations but at Bondi Junction the staff are so incredibly rude.

I was given attitude when I asked what the drink sizes were. They were annoyed for my friend asking any questions….

I ordered a strawberry matcha and received one with no strawberry.

My friend who was experiencing this place for the first time ordered the strawberry s’mores smoothie and it looked nothing like the photo or what we saw on Instagram.

I heard the employees call our name but were confused bc it didn’t look like what we ordered. The employee was then approached by another employee and she laughed and said “it’s supposed to be the strawberry s’more” so the other employee took the lid off and drizzled a tiny amount of strawberry on top and called it good. I asked if this was the strawberry store and she snapped at me with the list attitude and said “YEAH”….

I didn’t bother asking for them to remake anything bc of how rude and unwelcoming everyone was.

Both of our meals were not good either.

I was hyping this place up to my friend and convinced her to go and we ended up wasting our money and time.

Highly recommend NEVER going to Cali Press. I asked the server for vegan avo toast. When it was given to me there was what looked like cheese. Again asked if it was vegan. Tasted it and took it back to again check for a third time it was vegan. He told me 'we do vegan feta'. Well they actually do not do vegan feta. It was goats cheese and I am lactose intolerant and got quite sick. I emailed customer service and dm'd on instagram. I got 1 reply confirming they don't do goats cheese and they have alerted their staff that they don't... no sincere apology, no offer of a refund. Never replied to my follow up emails. On going issues with food quality and regularly sells out of date product. Disgusting service and care for their customers for a business that claims to be 'healthy'. I'm always put off ordering here because the staff suck at their job & their "couldn't care less" attitude towards customers. Today my visit involved more than 6 staff but only 2 were working, one taking orders & singing & dancing to the loud music, another making food in the back & the rest were talking about their private lives, with the beverage person listening to their music & ignoring orders altogether. Considering there were no beverage orders being made before mine, it still took 17mins for my hot drink. It's obvious from the many negative reviews that you have a problem with your staff at this outlet, might I suggest you start with managers - a lazy attitude starts with bad managers who lead bad examples & let staff get away with too much.
