I would give this cafe a zero if I could. This is a cafe that my friends and I wanted to visit, coming to hike at Katoomba once every week. However, we were extremely disappointed in their horrible service and attitude. We asked for our coffees to be taken away and very politely asked to sit and rest for 5 minutes before catching our train. However, the waitress was extremely rude and dismissive, kicking us out of the cafe with no legitimate explanation, alternative or at least an apology. With English not being our first language, we felt taken advantage of and certainly not welcome. She devoured a lamington while I being gluten free had to settle for a gf peanut butter brownie. Nice spot off the main road, opposite the RSL club limited parking though. Not sure if its now metered parking there or is far enough away to avoid it, I'm local so I dont pay for parking either way. The lesser star was only given because they dont really have many gluten free options, but if you really are into your coffee its a cafe for you, my friend loved it. Unfortunately that is not true anymore and is actually a long way from it. I work with an office full off people just around the corner but virtually no one goes there anymore. It is bypassed and people go to Frankly My Dear and Black Cockatoo Bakery. People are even choosing the Gingerbread Shop over it, which says something.
