Absolutely disgraceful service & food. We were the only people there other than 1 man already eating. 2 young men working. Ordered 2 big breakfasts - 1 without onions & 1 without eggs & tomato. & a decaf cap & cup of tea. About 25 minutes later, First one comes out with onions & no mushrooms. We tell the guy that there are no mushrooms, says he will bring some. Wait another 5 minutes for 2nd meal. Sausages weren't sausages but very spicy chorizos. Ask for bbq sauce. And ask where is our coffee & tea, expected to be served this first. Guy goes to make coffee & doesn't bring bbq sauce. Have to ask again for bbq sauce. 5 minutes later still waiting for coffee & tea. Guy gives coffee to my husband (who ordered tea) and says the other coffee is coming. I get up and tell him he ordered tea. Guy brings tea and then 5 minutes later as I am drinking the coffee after my meal brings another coffee and tells me the one I am drinking is not decaf. As we are almost finished our coffee & tea and finished our meal guy brings the mushrooms and places them on a small plate next to our finished plates. Another woman walks in whilst we are eating orders bacon & eggs and was served a hamburger with bacon & egg. These people are completely inept. The food was very average and the service pathetic. We dined at this place when it was CCs Chargrilled and the place was always full of people, the services was terrific & the food always spot on. I don't know who bought the business but they turned a great business into a stinking crap one. If I could vote 0 stars I would. The worst dining experience...
Read moreCC Train Strathfield, a Korean restaurant, offers a mixed experience deserving of a 3/5 rating. The highlight undoubtedly lies in their fried chicken, a delightful symphony of flavors and textures that manages to satisfy the discerning palate. Each crispy bite is a testament to their expertise in crafting this Korean classic.
However, the same culinary excellence does not extend to their teriyaki chicken burger, a disappointment that significantly impacts the overall rating. The burger, unfortunately, falls short of expectations, with a below-average taste that lacks the harmonious blend of flavors one would anticipate from a Korean eatery. It's a missed opportunity to showcase diversity on the menu.
Another notable aspect affecting the dining experience is the language barrier with the staff. Regrettably, there seems to be a struggle in understanding English, which creates communication challenges. This language barrier not only hinders the ordering process but also diminishes the overall customer service experience. For a restaurant aiming to cater to diverse patrons, effective communication is crucial, and this deficiency detracts from the overall satisfaction.
CC Train Strathfield earns praise for its commendable fried chicken but faces setbacks with a subpar teriyaki chicken burger and language barriers with the staff. The potential for improvement is evident, and addressing these aspects could elevate the dining experience for patrons seeking both quality cuisine and effective...
Read moreOVER 40MINS OF WAITING FOR ONLY $32 OF HALF AND HALF CHICKEN is not worth it for my family, who was told by a waiter that we would have to wait for only 15 mins to have a takeaway. We had to wait for almost TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF TIME and the quantity and quality of the pieces of chicken were very poor and small respectively. I don’t care about the fact that the chicken wasn’t good but because we were given false and very different information about the amount of time we had to wait. If we were told the truth, we could’ve gone to other korean chicken restaurants which would take exactly 15 mins or maybe less to provide us with the chicken that we order. We could have saved our time not waiting for the workers who falsely informed us on how long we would have to wait. It’s dissappointing because I’ve seen a few OTHER REVIEWS AS WELL COMPLAIN about the amount of time and the number of errors made that ultimately became poor customer service and treatment for the customers. CC’s is not fixing their mistakes and this shows how little they do concern about their customers. My dad said something along the lines of “I really don’t want to have to say this but I’m going to say it. Do not lie to any customers please.” I hope those workers reflect upon what they have done and decide to act in the right way, knowing how it would feel to be...
