We got there at 5pm on a Friday night , which seemed the perfect time to arrive - a few tables were in use but no line. The staff on the door were very friendly and helpful. We used a voucher offered through the online membership, which offered 25% off - an awesome deal and one which we had changed our arrangements to use. We had visited the new Auburn branch a few weeks ago but the voucher persuaded us to give Strathfield a go and we def weren’t disappointed. The lovely open windows, which we were seated against gave the restaurant a breezy and open feeling. I felt there was plenty of space between the tables to move about and even though the food seems to be in a smaller area than auburn, each different food - meats, hot food, salad etc were separated enough that I didn’t feel overwhelmed by people at each . The food was of the usual standard at this chain - delicious and heaps of variety (would rate Strathfield and auburn quite close in food quality, but both if these are better than Eastwood). We especially love the Melon icecream and I thought the Taiyaki had a very generous serves of red bean inside. I like that they give you a fifteen minute warning when your time is almost up. Parking was easily found in the Plaza.

Had an amazing time here—easily the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve been to in Sydney! The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. First off, the marinated beef was packed with flavor, perfectly tender, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. The Wagyu beef? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Every bite was juicy, rich, and ridiculously good on the grill. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—so addictive. The glass noodles had that perfect chewy texture and were super flavorful. And the fried rice? Just the right amount of seasoning and a little crispy—so good with the BBQ. The aged kimchi had that deep, tangy, fermented kick that made everything taste even better. And for dessert, the red bean paste cake and gluten ball were a great sweet finish, not too heavy but super satisfying. Oh, and can’t forget the free ice pops—such a nice little treat to cool down after all that grilling. But what really stood out was the service. The staff was super friendly, and our waitress was on it the whole time, always changing the BBQ plate so the food never burned. Little things like that make such a huge difference! Already thinking about my next visit—definitely a must-try spot!

Good value at this all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ place. Lots of beef and pork plus some unusual cuts like intestines; then there’s the non-BBQ fried section, salads / kimchi and other Korean dishes. The other dishes (like tteokbokki and japchae) are kind of warm-ish, but if you want them hot you need to warm them on your BBQ. Would love to have been able to control the BBQ temperature ourselves so we could regulate our eating pace, because otherwise there was a lot of smoke from the meat oil and you definitely smell like meat until you have a shower. But the selection was excellent - the marinated pork was delicious - and it’s so fun cooking your own! Also since it’s winter I would LOVE to have seen spicy tofu stew on the buffet - my favourite, and perfect for the cold weather. There’s very simple dessert available (cheesecake & ice cream), unlimited water and tea. All up excellent value and would highly recommend. Be aware they’re strict about the 90min limit - no hanging around even if you’re not eating - but 90mins is plenty for KBBQ. We parked up the road on a side street and walked about 10mins to get there as parking close would be difficult.

Short summary: Good value for $59 (and you get a free drink). Clean place, great atmosphere, good quality meat and sides. I will return.

Food price and quality: $59 for all you can eat (for an adult, kids are cheaper). You get a free canned drink. Meats include beef oyster blade, scotch fillet, chicken, pork belly, and more. Some meats are marinated and others are just plain (good for if you are gluten free, you don’t have to worry about the marinade). All the sides were tasty and good quality - to name a few, there were glass noodles, seafood pancake, hot chips, onion rings, Korean rice cake, kimchi, the bean sprouts, lettuce, and more. There is a section for sauces too (such as soy, soy & vinegar, the red Korean sauce, and sesame sauce). Ice cream is available for dessert (service yourself, Bull a vanilla and chocolate rice cream).

Wait times: there was a 30 minute wait time for us to get in on a Saturday night (we arrived at 6:40pm. Dining is capped at 90 minutes (I didnt see them approach any table to tell them to leave though).

Atmosphere: busy busy busy. It can feel a bit cramped because it was a full restaurant with waiters and guests walking around with food. Be careful navigating with your food plates when walking back to your seat. The music was a mix of both English and Korean - it was great. The shop wasnt overly smokey either - they do a great job of controlling the smoke emitted from the BBQ’s and change the plates frequently (which helps the meat taste good). Friendly waitstaff.

Parking: Abysmal. It is situation on a busy street with street parking available, there is a small parking lot within 1 minute walking distance but only fits about 12-15 cars. The location is within walking distance from...

Butcher's Buffet is ridiculously priced, especially if you are a student. Even when they do offer student discounts it's only 3 dollars discounted. Recently, they have increased their prices to 35 dollars from 12-4pm. Then, they take a break for an hour and re-open at 5pm. However, the price increased to 40-45 dollars. They charge extra on Fridays - Sundays, and if you manage to eat from 5pm and onwards on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday...I'm sorry your wallet's going to be hurt. Here's the thing: They charge people at a ridiculous price for a One hour limit? I'm sorry, but that's NOT enough time for people to actually have an enjoyable time. Even worse, students aren't able to afford to eat at these places and so, they're really setting themselves up in losing customers since it is an extremely popular place amongst High-Schoolers. This put High- Schoolers in an extremely tight spot since school ends at 3:10 and by the time you arrive to butcher's buffet you either have to eat BEFORE it strikes 4:01 or you have to wait until 5pm and that's when it becomes EVEN more expensive. This is basically taking advantage of High-Schoolers if they WERE to go to Butcher's Buffet. I don't actually believe the reviews that's been displayed on Butchers Buffet since they make you give them a good review. The cashier literally ENSURES that you've left a "good and positive review/rating" and practically asks to see it to confirm before you leave. Overall, I can accept the increase in pricing since it is THEIR choice but it is unreasonable to pay for it when you only get an hour time limit. Did I mention that if you stay there longer for an extra 10 minutes, the waiter actually gives you the glares? Yep, great...
