Chatime Wolli Creek — Restaurant in Sydney

As a resident living upstairs, I occasionally visited Chatime for bubble tea. The taste was not as good as the competitor Coco but it was okay for a change. I loved the pandan milktea, very nice drink. I every now and then upgraded to large size and added more topping. Always no problem but today, both on duty staff refused to upgrade my drink to large size, I was fine, no upgrade but I still wanted to add more topping, I got declined again. OMG!!! I was paying for the upgrade and extra topping. How hard was it to take my money and add extra of what already there??? I explained to the staff I had this before, other staff assisted me and of cuz charged me, I was happy to pay. But no!!!! No upgrade, no extra topping. It was like this place did not want business. I left and went to next door, get a large cup of bubble tea and extra extra topping. Who lose business??? Obviously the staff did not care about the sell of the shop, the less drinks they make the less...

I’ve always been a big fan of Chatime, but I was really disappointed with the service I received tonight at the Wolli Creek store. I ordered two fruity teas with double serves of jelly, clearly had the order read back to me, a-ok. I was then charged $22 for the two beverages... When I brought up the mistake, the cashier hurriedly scrambled to find cash from the till to refund the extra money I’d been charged. No apology, no offer to refund the money to my card. When the teas arrived, they were blotchy - the powders weren’t mixed, the tea was really weak and there was absolutely no jelly in either drink, despite paying for double. Tasted like water and no sugar added the last 2 times I went there. I thought the first time was a mistake. Went back and ordered a few days later and told the staff "Please add sugar, last time I couldn't taste any flavor". Unfortunately it was made exactly the same, tasted like water. When I called Chatime and told staff they didn't add sugar again, they confirmed they did add sugar and if I want more sugar then I should ask for "Extra-Sugar"... Apparently Chatime tasting like water is the new norm. Staff are friendly and place looks ok but the unsatisfying taste has made me feel disappointed and not wanting to come back. My last order was 5 days ago so for me to still feel this way after this long and leave a review hopefully...
