Crust Pizza Croydon — Restaurant in Sydney

Ordered the Meat lover and Quatro salumi with the 2 sides on a deal. The pizzas were poorer than average, the meat lover being sooo sweet that it might as well have been jam on bread topped with meat. Bbq sauce is supposed to have a sweet-ish taste, but not be so sweet that it completely overpowers all other flavours! The other pizza was somewhat edible, but the base of both was quite poor. The sides we ordered was the garlic bread and the oven baked chips. The garlic bread was like any other atore bought garlic bread, nothing special. And the chips, well after all the trouble of choosing a seasoning type, you’d think it would have some sort of seasoning. We chose the spicy schezuan, and the chips were neither spicy nor seasoned. Totally bland as if the potatoes never met salt. The choices of savoury sides are quite limited, and for the price Crust charges, I’d think that the sides they do offer, they’d atleast taste good. Much cheaper and better alternatives are out there, and this is coming from a person who doesn’t really like dominoes, but sorry to say I would rate dominoes much higher than Crust based on this experience, both on taste and value for money. Paid almost $50 dollars for two cold, soggy, stale pizza. Wanted my pizza to be delivered around 8:45 but got it 10 mins earlier and that was not even the problem but it came out stoned cold. When I called the store to inform about my cold pizza and had almost 10 mins of conversation with around 4 different staffs at the end i was asked by one of the male staff what i expect them to do with an arrogant attitude and refused me to give a new one and instead they made me feel that i was the one lying for the extra pizza.... Are you serious? I don't think anybody have that much of time to put hot pizza aside and talk with someone over the phone for 10 mins making my hot pizza the cold one for getting new one?? After being hung up on 3 times, then speaking to someone on 2 separate occasions for an update and being told ‘just 20 more minutes’ each time... my pizza arrived 3 hours later and I live less than 5 minutes away. I paid $16 for a gnocchi and the container was half full and an entree size which was worth about $2 in my opinion. Both the gnocchi and pizza were cold... an absolute joke. Never, ever again! Sort this business out, hire more staff and perhaps foresee circumstances through google or the news such as the footy being on or a predicted storm... it shouldn’t result in this. Refund welcomed!
