Stranded Deli Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

I have given this coffee shop a few chances but as usual it has failed every time. So today I went to get a salad sandwich with cheese. When i asked the guy at the counter do you make salsd sandwiches he said yes but have a look at the board you might want something from there, well i didn't but i still had a look. I went back to him and said I will have a salad sandwich please and specifically told him what I wanted in it not hard, just some lettuce tomato carrot onion betroot cheese no cucumber. He charges me 11.50. I get my sandwich and have a look at it before I leave the shop. First of all its toasted who toasts a salad sandwich. Inside there is a bit of beetroot some cheese and Tomato no lettuce no carrot no onion. I take it back and say this is not a salad sandwich he says don't you want it toasted ??? I said this is not a salad sandwich. No lettuce no onion no carrot Anyway he takes it back and shoves a few bits of carrot and lettuce and hands it back to me and says sorry we have run out of carrot so I gave you what I had. Really but you charged me for it. Run out of carrot and it's 11.30 in the morning. Will I be going back there again no definitely not. And I forgot to mention while I was waiting two women had to return their pies because they were not hot enough food...

Love, love, Love! this cafe'. For good quality food at reasonable prices you cannot go wrong! stopping here for either breakfast or lunch or coffee and something sweet on your way to work. The location is close to the Croydon Station and close to other shops in the Croydon Village. If you're coming here for flowers fruit vegetables or simply coming here to eat this is one place I always visit. One of my favourite dishes here is the salmon Benedict very filling very well priced and cooked beautifully. The coffee is also excellent and they're sweet menu is to quite simply divine😉. Therefore if you're looking for a savoury or a sweet place to come and eat stranded Deli Cafe is where I would head to. Great service with a smile, clean facilities and excellent fresh cooked...

My wife & I attended the café Sat 13 March, we ordered two lattes, ice coffee, bacon/egg roll & salad. The lattes & iced coffees come within 5min, we had to wait a further 30min for the roll & salad. We kept asking the staff who weren’t too concerned, the café wasn’t even that busy. If you do attend the café, be prepared to wait a veryy longg timee. They don’t respect your time at all, your time is none of their concern. The staffs attitude was rude, unaccommodating, arrogant and disgusting. You don’t treat your customers like that or they will go elsewhere just like we will. If your looking for a café that offers below average customer service and average food then...
