Crust Pizza Gymea — Restaurant in Sydney

If I could I’d rate this joint a negative 100 I would. Completely destroyed what couldn’t have been a more simplistic pizza order; a margarita pizza, add olives, no mozzarella cheese to be delivered. The pizza which came was some form of a supreme pizza; crust dryer than the desert, base undercooked. Wouldn’t bother me if it was my order; I couldve managed. Except it wasn’t my order. Accidentally made the bold mistake of misplacing faith in the ability of the staff to correct my order. Called up to correct my order and re order my original order and could hear old mate yelling to the young lady on the phone to me what to say. Asked the young lady to pass the phone to old mate in to speak directly. Bloke was more incapable than a plastic bag with holes in it. Asked if I could come pick it up. The pizza. In which I ordered to be delivered. Still at this point hopes were somehow there, old mate told me no one could deliver, tried the good old tactic of blaming it on the uber driver (except the uber driver came with a receipt of my order), told the bloke I know it was the fault of Crust and not the Ubers. Decided to cave and say sure I’ll come get it but can you repeat back to me what my order is, old mate repeated it back to me, put me on hold and then hung up on me. Not one to leave bad reviews ever & not one to complain ever. I’ve eaten some rogue stuff in my life but the blokes yelling and attitude was just too much. Crust gymea probably makes the best pizza ever. And im not saying that lightly either.

I've been to many pizza places in the shire, since me and my friends often go out looking for interesting places to eat. But out of all the pizza I've had, crust gyme tops it all. It's as you can't go wrong ordering here. I'd recommend the peri-peri chicken pizza, as it's almost always perfect and leagues ahead of peri-peri pizza anywhere else.

The staff are amazing and the customer service is great, as they are often willing to accommodate my requests as I can be quite a picky eater. I haven't been met with frustration or annoyed glares from the cashier as I have been at some other places like the Domino's pizza nearby. They always serve with a polite manner here.

You never know if you are going to be picking up a good pizza or a bad pizza from Crust Gymea as it is always in consistent. Tonight was absolutely horrible, I paid for extra sauce which clearly is not extra sauce, the toppings looked like they were thrown on top, the pizza itself was NOT COOKED! Three slices were crispy and the rest were undercooked and doughy. I am never one to write a review on a restaurant but I have had enough of not being able to eat and enjoy my pizza that I pay a decent amount of money for. I am unsure if there are new owners that have taken over which has caused this restaurant to go down hill.. and the fact that no responses have been made to customers feedback in over a year is just horrific.
